Thatā€™s called Brandishing and is straight up a crime in Calfornia lol.

it is a crime but that donā€™t stop nobody :skull:

Worse. an ohioan.

Ok but what about the trading card game rooster mount. Supposedly it was going to China market first, will this affect itā€™s release?

Or lunar festival mountsā€¦ we might not get those anymore

but does it happen to Steve, the local carpenter after he shares a video of some cops beating up an old man or something? Do reps for the US federal government show suddenly show up at his workshop, search until they find that he didnā€™t report a few nails, drag him to prison for ā€œcorruptionā€, and only let him out when he stars in a video telling everyone that he deserved it and the US government is super cool? and everyone agrees because theyā€™re next if they donā€™t?

I believe it was Nike was the first western company that opened the first successful factory in China that broke open cheap Chinese labor back in the late 80s.

Microsoft has itā€™s own partners and network in China.

Iā€™m amused and slightly appalled at the subtle and not so subtle sentiments being echoed in here.

At what point in time did the average forum inhabitant turn into a get off my lawn guy?

Which is pocket change to some entities.

The average forum inhabitant here is also a political advisor, health expert, legal professor, and business owner.

Because China is unilaterally switching to Linux as is Russia for their OSes, I doubt blocking these countries will do much if anything

He is a goat :sunglasses:

Seriously we dont have any skin in Ukraine conflict. India always had a policy of non alignment. So, we have remained neutral in terms of world conflicts.

Soā€¦before West accuses India of being against Ukraine

Indiaā€™s pharmaceutical companies as well as other organizations donated $ 8 million worth of medicines, food and financial assistance to Ukraine

We are helping Ukraine through humanitarian aidā€¦but will remain neutral.

Right and simply continuing to ignore Linux is going to bite Blizzard in the butt big time. Other companies will start targeting Linux, Valve is. Valve doesnā€™t even sell a Windows machine.

Lucky you are not in china as if you were making posts bashing the country, as you do with the USA, im sure you would get a ā€œpermaā€ ban.

Idk why so many people rush to speak ill of the united statesā€¦even when its not related at all.

3% of overall revenue doesnā€™t sound huge to meā€¦

facts arenā€™t something we usually care about on the forum. facts can easily be fabricated depending on the narrative.

And the U.S and other develop countries do not have extreme wealth gap? The homeless population in the U.S has exploded in the last 10-20 years while the business and political elite just keeps getting rich. This is a product of capitalism. It is also an increasing problem in China as well as the rest of the world. In Japan a lot of the young people nowadays lives in their so called ā€œ1 square meterā€ apartments because of the extreme wealth gap.

Regarding the minimum wage, You do know each country have different minimum wages right? as well as different costs of living? If you think so low of chinaā€™s mininum wage what would you think of other countries which has lower minimum wages or even none at all. Your bias is clearly showing

Haters like you arenā€™t new anyway. What China is experiencing now is basically what Japan experienced in the 1970s and 80s until the U.S forced them to sign the Plaza accord which gives the U.S huge control over Japanā€™s economic policies and devastated Japanā€™s economy that led to the start of Japanā€™s economic stagnation that continues to this day. Japanese scientists and students are spies, Japanese companies stealing IPs, Japanese government employing slave labor, Japanese manipulating their currency etc. Same modus operandi to demonize a country and its people

Pretty much. Donā€™t get me wrong there is definitely plenty bad with China. But this is the reality: China isnā€™t so heavily frowned upon because of actual human rights violations, plenty of countries do way worse and we donā€™t care. China is heavily frowned upon because they are a competitor for first place on the world power scale and arenā€™t guaranteed to heavily benefit us. Same with Russia (but with ukraine that comes into question lulz)

China has many more MMOs than we do in the west, so WoW going missing is going to mean donkey excrement.

You can bet that China can technically block just about anything from entering their country. Satellite signals included. Scramble them up like eggs. They already have a scary strong space presence.
