Well,
if your realm is ruled by a goblin empire, you won´t make a dime. They undercut faster than you can post the next item. 
They brought almost everything back by now, even Naxx and ZG gear. Most of the rewards of the anniversary were old btw. if you played since release you had most of them already.
So ya,
stuff will come back, it always does, unless it´s a M+ reward, as that is where Blizzard is drawing the line…
