In almost 15 days, We’ll have the anniversary and I provided this feedback back in 10.1.7 PTR, this new mount was added to the Doomwalker Boss.
I hope this isn’t another Arfus pet kind of cosmetic with a low % and a daily boost attemp per account… the last time a mount was added to the Doomwalker devs had to move it from lower % to 100% which I also disagree, I would prefer if this rewards came from a meaningful activity like the previous Deathwing Mount by killing bosses in the special instace. (Memories of Fel, Frost and Fire).

It’s a blue-recolor of the Deathwing mount.
We’ve already seen what they’ve datamined for it.

Do people prefer rare mounts that not everyone has or do people prefer guaranteed mounts that everyone has?

I don’t compare with others, I want mounts for my own collection…this game has lost most of the social aspect to even try to compare with others.

Also, there’s a different meaning of rarity for some players. I prefer a mount that’s rare because its acquisition method is 100% drop but requires gameplay like the mage tower book, compared to a low rng drop.

I remember this from a few months back .
I honestly really like the recolor I know its same one but I get less of a Jay Leno vibe with this one.
I mean,it’s still there but doesn’t feel so much right in the face.

They changed anniversary mounts to be 100% droprates two years ago.

Honestly, they are all just +1. I mount a new mount ONCE after I’ve learned it, to look at it, then I go back to my normal mount I use on pretty much every character I have.
So, 499+ mounts I rarely use.
I enjoy collecting, that’s all.

Yeah, poo hit the fan that year, people flipped out and Blizz changed it. Then people flipped out because no one ran Doomwalker after that.

Yeah, that’s the old one, this is a new one as part of the loot from the Worldboss, it’ll drop 2 mounts now.
And I highly doubt they’re going to change anything after it’s been that way for two years.
Yeah, I’m not talking to about the last one and I don’t trust Reward Devs, they could try to add it with low % and then a massive backlash.

The 10th anniversary had a 100 % drop rate for the mount and was well received by everyone who ran molten core again

I’ll collect whatever but I won’t use it if I don’t like it. Sometimes recolors are better sometimes not.
