Wow and Free Speech and forum Censorship

This is a cute alternate reality you are living in. Supplanted twitter, you are adorable.

What law was broken exactly? It’s pretty easy to google and find why Apple took it off the app store.

Funny for you to say that. Cause with the recent purchase of Twitter thos who were clamoring that a private business doesnt have to have Freedom of Speech is now upset that a private company will have Freedom of Speech

Yall need to make up your mind

I think a private company should be able to do whatever the heck they want if they are not acting as a governmental agency. A private company should be able to censor anything they see fit. They should be able to reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

You asked for it, so here it is:

Keep your bad language – AND your bad attitude – out of the game I enjoy playing.

Yeah, I guess you could read it that way. But what I’m saying in actuality is that I’m FOR positivity overall. Be nice. Use nice language.

I guess it all goes back to the immortal words of Tom Lehrer: “Life’s like a sewer. What you get out of it depends on what you put into it.”

I followed both cases, he is a monster and got off light; should be facing perjury charges.

I do actually think we are still technically ruled by the monarchy, long live the king?

They say the same thing and both are grammatically correct. It’s just a matter of style.

People living in the 13 states back in the 1780s didn’t trust the idea of a strong central government so they wanted each state to be able to maintain militia. That was so they wouldn’t have to fight the Revolutionary war all over again.

Early in the 20th century the word “militia” was replaced with “National Guard” and today the states still have those “well regulated militia” to protect our free states.

As for the rest, do you see a government somewhere around the world that would be a better system for us to be using? And remember, small countries like Norway, Sweden, Japan, don’t have the diverse populations with different values and multiple cultures that we have here in the US.

Well, “ruled” may be a bit strong, basically agreed to keep putting their picture on the money and stamps and pretend you’re doing some things “in their name” without even having to consult them about it.

And Chuck is two years older than me, he won’t live all that long; but you’ll likely have Billy Cambridge for a long time, he’s only 40.

Actually the Prime Minister in the UK does consult with the Monarch on a regular basis. The Monarch is limited to asking questions which by tradition the Prime Minister must answer.

That alone has some effect since the Prime Minister knows they have to be able to give a logical explanation to what ever it is they plan to do.

I do believe there could be a better system. Some of what Sweden is parts of the German system much of our current system, but things change and hopefully improve over time. The Constitution I swore to support and defend does have Article V.

Every single one in the world.

Good luck with getting an Amendment to the Constitution on anything. You would need 2/3rds of both Houses of Congress just to get it out to the states then you need 3/4ths of the States to ratify it.

there’s your problem right there OP, this isn’t america. it’s the internet. free speech? not guaranteed here.

There is no freedom of speech. You aren’t standing on the sidewalk in front of your house. This is a video game, and a website owned by not you, which can impose whatever rules they want.

On the forums, or in game? In game it is like this. I don’t know why the forums are such a divergence in that regard, but alas.

There is always a better word or phrase to use. I curse a lot, but it’s something I constantly work to better myself on. The only time I really come off of using an expletive feeling satisfied is if I’m writing dialogue/monologue of some kind.

Ah, but we’re talking Canada here, not the UK or England.

Technically the UK PM is “asked to form a government” by the monarch and the PM “consults” with the monarch about what will be decided in each session of parliament; he or she opens parliament with a speech laying out these priorities; however the speech is written by a committee of the current majority party or coalition. The UK system is ridiculous in so many ways.

The UK parliament no longer has any control over Canada and I’m not sure the Canadian PM has to pretend that the monarch invited them to rule and must be consulted about what the parliament will discuss.

Don’t you have a Governor General of Canada or some such thing representing the King/Queen? Does he/she take any part in the government?

The process is intended to be a bit difficult to provide some stability and prevent frivolous amendments. It has been done 27 times however, even if you lump the bill of rights into one 18 times.
