35 here!! I’ve been playing since I was 16 when it first came out. I’m honestly going to keep going until the very end!!
My bet is that forum users skew older.
I’m middle-aged but the last two raiding guilds I was in was almost all 20 somethings.
- and I’m very officially old already for rejecting the current trends. But I see it as sticking to what I like already.
I think the average player is probably in their 30s, since that was the demographic which was in high school during WoW’s peak vanilla-wotlk years when it was a cultural phenomenon with young people.
I kinda like this because it makes me feel really old when I go into an online game and everyone is talking in zoomerisms
I’m 26 and there are very few people I know that play this game around that age range.

65 yr old Grandma here…with many many HK’s…I always wondered what some young horde male player would think if he ever found out he got beat down by a 65 yr old grandma…LOL
