Howdy all, since December 5th I’ve been getting randomly disconnected on things such as flight paths, loading into Raid / Arena, load bars getting stuck at 0% or 75%, and other main gameplay tasks.
I’ve read through the forums searching for a fix and found the cache issue whereby replacing the Cache ADB & WDB folders with working version. However, when Blizzard blue posted about the fix going live on Dec. 9th I was still crashing constantly.

Reading through forums on SC2 disconnects, I found a fix for connection issues that allows traffic through a firewall to reach Blizzard servers.

Here is the forum for the fix, scroll down until you see the Blue Post by Caterpipi and click on the arrow that reads “Here’s all the ports.”
Next open Windows Security
- Click Firewall & Network Protection
- Select Advanced Settings
- Select Inbound Rules on the Left navigation panel, and following that click “New Rule…” on the right-most panel
- Next select Port on the rule creation and hit next
- First do TCP, and copy and paste the numbers from the Blue Post (also posted below) into the specific local ports box respective to TCP.
[You can copy and paste the entire line starting with “80”] - Click Next and then select Allow Connection
- Click Next again an check all networks.
- Click Next 1 more time and name it (Inbound TCP)
*** REPEAT FOR TCP AND UDP FOR BOTH INBOUND AND OUTBOUND*** - This will leave you with 4 total rules, 2 for outbound, 2 for inbound, a TCP and a UDP for each.
Specific port number for Blizzard to allow all server traffic to enter and exit your computer (can verify with blue post above)
- TCP Ports - 80, 443, 1119, 1120, 3074, 3724, 4000, 6112-6120, 27014-27050
- UDP Ports - 80, 443, 1119, 1120, 3478-3479, 3724, 4000, 4379-4380, 5060, 5062, 6112-6119, 6250, 27000-27031, 27036, 12000-64000
-Thanks everyone for their help on the forums, if the Cache fix isn’t working for you and Blizzard is saying it’s on your end, this is a Firewall fix to only let Blizzard traffic and data in and out and so far I haven’t DC’d at all today.
