WoW 16th Anniversary In-Game Event Moved to End Before Shadowlands

The 16th Anniversary event was previous schedule for November 16th through 30th but with Shadowlands releasing on November 24th Blizzard has now moved the event to end before Shadowlands so there’s no experience and reputation buff.
Got keep our nose to the grind stone there no fast leveling until it becomes dull.

Yes, cause I could not find one. Now if you like to point to one then that would be helpful.

Shadowlands leveling isn’t much of a grind from my experience in the beta so far fwiw. Got to 60 well before finishing the main story quests.

Imagine wanting an experience boost for a brand new expansion?

Then that why they needed to move the buff, players would be power leveling to max then asking for more content, and that most raids do not open until weeks later the forums would be full of players complaints that there was nothing to do.

Yes I know “It is a MMO and leveling is apart of that experience” there are no easy rides.

They’ve also expanded the event to a full 3 weeks from the 2 it was before, so you’ll have a bigger incentive to level alts during that time.

I don’t blame them for ending any sort of bonuses right before SL. They want us to level it without any “speed boosts” so we aren’t max level and complaining about content so everyone can enjoy the holidays.

HA! Who am I kidding. You guys will charge to 60 in a week and then complain all through the rest of the year that there’s “nothing to do in SL”.

Dude what are you talking about? It’s a brand new xpac with all new zones and storylines and you want an experience boost so you can blast through the whole thing in 1 zone?

Are you kidding?

There are going to be already a handful of players who will just push through all the quests to get to max level, especially the Twitch streamers. Then you also have WM that will give players a free exp boost as long as it is on. So moving the buff to before SL drops is either just to add a few more minutes to game time, or its a incisive to level alts or encourage players to come back.

I will concede it was titled differently but there was talk of the buff and not having it during SL.

I hope that will be something great like the last time

You mean idiots constantly wiping at Lich King because they are incapable of following one simple mechanic?

Exactly :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Note that Shadowlands is structured differently than past expansions: your first character needs to do the main story all the way to the end to unlock the endgame, not just reach level 60.

An exp bonus wouldn’t even matter unless you go out of your way to avoid every non-essential quest and kill the absolute minimum mobs.

reputation i can understand but exp? as if leveling wasnt already easy enough you want it to be faster?

We’ll probably get our “Tree Mount” after we do the pre-patch of “RePlanting of Teldrissal”.

I had to go back and do side quests and dungeons just to get to 60 when I was doing it.

Tbf, we didn’t even need one thread about this.
