They are launching it early and no word beyond an exp/rep buff ):

Last year we got a mount and a pet and Korraks Revenge.

I would assume the standard 16% xp buff. But 16 isn’t really an important year so i wouldn’t expect too much.

There will be! Just unsure if it persists into Shadowlands itself as it’ll result in players finishing levelling before they have experienced the storyline (probably not a big deal 1 year in, but at launch might be disruptive).

It won’t.

I just hope we get Korrak’s again. I’ve got some ARs to get heritage armor on and that’d be a fantastic way to push them through.

I don’t think we will get anything as fantastical as last year but something is always appreciated. They usually throw something at us. I remember the little corgi goggles the one year. :sunglasses:

The second the date rolls over we’ll have to grind for 16 straight days to earn the SPAM feat of strength and a grey can pet that is just a reskinned furniture item from a table in Vanilla STV.

Probably just the buff. They only do big stuff (special events, raids, etc) on years that are multiples of 5, which I believe really started year 10.

As for a car mount, it would be cool to get a 4 person party mount, though it would need to be expensive/hard to get. Mechagon would have probably been the best place to release something like that, though.

Last year was the 15 year anniversary. They do special things on the 5-year increments. Everything else is just a standard anniversary.

The XP boost is 16%.
