Lumiae, maybe the Dragon expansion is more your speed since you just want to be a non-social, solo player.
No, wotlk is my speed since you know, it was un wotlk to begin with. Maybe you should go to SOM since its more your speed.
The problem with this line of logic is that Cross Realm Battlegroups released in 3.3 the same patch as LFD and ICC.
CRZ I agree is not good and that isn’t until Cata.
If Classic is truly trying to preserve the game we would have both LFD and Cross Realm Battlegroups as it will fix the mega server issue by allowing anyone to play with friends or others even if they’re not on a mega server which is the current issue, people feel safer there than on smaller servers.
WotLK doesn’t have x-server play and the devs are interested in promoting socialization.
Why would I have to leave WotLK since this is my speed LMAO? Good attempt at a comeback though rofl.
Battlegrounds are 20 minute events and can house up to 80 players. This is quite a bit different than setting up a dungeon run.
Queue times will resolve mega server issues. No one wants to sit in a 4 hour queue. Grob has high queue times so I am playing some other toons on a quieter server in the meantime. All good.
What? How does this even make sense lol
Players will eventually succumb to free transfers or start up alts on quieter servers and that will drive queue times down on the megas. Also, keep transfers locked and through player attrition, eventually megas will shrink.
No, we don’t want retail. And on my server…we still value server community and are NOT a megaserver where people mindlessly followed their favorite streamers while not even remotely thinking about server que time come wrath.
How could you play on bene and NOT think that was going to be in your near future? The only people I feel sorry for there are the ones who have been there for years.
Everyone else who went there deserves what they are getting.
To YOU it is just words.
That’s not how this works, it actually hasn’t worked like this for the past 2 years.
Mega Servers exist because of safety in numbers, no one wants to play on a non-Mega server because the chances of you finding groups for PvE/PvP are lower.
Cross Realm Battlegroups fix all of these issues.
Cross Realm Battlegroups literally came out in 3.3 patch with ICC and LFD lol, what do you mean you don’t want Retail? You aren’t even playing Wrath, half the features are gone and you have a literal LFG tool from Retail.
I think he/she is implying that eventually people will move servers or quit playing.
They won’t lol, they didn’t in Vanilla or TBC.
Is 3.3 the first patch and came out with T7 content…or is it the last patch and came out with T10 content?
Well the balance right now is 3.3, so yes 3.3 content should be made available. By your logic, the balance and everything has to be restored to T7.
the balance is 3.3 content…but that was the last patch with T10 gear…and not the first patch where you go to get T7.
So if you want that RDF and blizz goes through with it. Then you gotta wait until ICC drops.
My logic is sound…it isn’t my fault that it went over your head…
It’s really not though, by your very own logic the entire game should be reverted to T7 not be balanced at T10 without zero systems or features from T10 lol.
Bliz has recently stated that they don’t want mega servers and will keep server locks in place even if it prevents friends from playing.
Keeping megas locked from transfers AND players who previously didn’t have toons on mega will prevent the mega from growing. It can only shrink at this point (player attrition from unsubbing or transferring off).
If your server has multi thousand person queue to play, how much “server identity” is there? Doesn’t that mean you have like 20k plus players on a single server?
In og wotlk, a large server had around 2k people I believe. It looks like some of our mega servers have more than 20k.
Is the social interaction as meaningful and impactful on a 20k+ person server as it is on a 2k person server?
I don’t think you understand my meaning.
Yes, it is 3.3 because blizzard goes with the last patch for the classic xpacs because it has the most “fixes” in it for the xpac. The fact that it is 3.3 is irrelevant in this context because it is the start of the xpac with T7…and not the END of it with T10 being released.
Not necessarily. The realm layers would still leave a lot of places empty
Can you imagine the spam too if we didn’t have RDF but the realms were cross-realm lol
