This isn’t red dead redemption
You see it in spellcasting, things like priests hymn of prayer. You got the sounds the Naaru make. Then you got warrior shouts.
Bards healing with sound and buffing allies would be nice as a caster spec.
ETC was a fun bard tank in HoTS.
Anyway here’s some notable bards from other games.
Here’s when wow made an april fools joke out of it as well. Notice all their april fool joke classes/races tend to one day come true in one form or another. And they have been adding many bards throughout azeroth and even shadowlands since Legion honestly.
Have some FAITH! I have a plan.
Id support, doesnt seem that bad
I’d rather have Bard be it’s own class, combo points as a bard sounds horrible.
I feel like this would be more of a war spec over a rogue. Nothing about a support spec even remotely resembles a rogue.
Honestly if rogues got a 4th spec, I’d prefer a ranged dot spec. Perhaps how old surv used to play.
At some point, don’t we have enough alts though?
(i’m finding the idea of adding new concepts as specs rather than separate classes surprisingly appealing)
Never enough alts!
But seriously, they should expand pretty much every class to 4 specs before releasing another class.
Most of the current classes would fit almost any mentioned idea/new class ideas.
IMO each class should fill more roles.
A hard hell no from me.
If it a healing spec than yes, we dont need pure dps specs anymore.
I am absolutely one-hundred percent in favour of removing rogues. “Stealth” is an abomination.
Only if I get to carry a Tommygun in a violin case and play my tunes on that.
The absolutely are. Rogues are the parent archetype and bards fall under that. You can argue with Gary Gygax or literally any form of fantasy literature since the dawn of time.
Just gonna put this here, don’t mean to be that guy but rogues are the cliché d-bag class of wow. Always have been and always will be. Rogue players would never play it. Makes more sense to be monk than rogue.
Yeah i can, and i seriously get sick of people coming up with their own definitions… From this dnd site
“Adding to that, a bard can always fill the role of the rogue (skills, lockpicking, stuff like that) but a rogue will have a hard time being a bard”

No.
They both have thief skills, because they are both offshoots of the same archtype. Neither is a full master of what the other can do.
.
Its all on you if you cant grasp that.
Lol sure but we typically have two maybe three characters we actually play every season, I know I’d main a bard if it was done right.
Also, I feel like the tier sets for bard would offend rogue players lol.
I would take 2 classes turning in the bards exclusively before I even want to discuss tinker. Such a stupid name
