Would it help

My point is there is no mass kicking for low dps like many would like others to believe.
My experiment shows that. The number of groups I’ve been in shows that. The number of others in the forums show it.

And this is where I think the issue is. If you are kicked once – move on and be done with it. If you are getting continually kicked, it is time to self-reflect on what it is you are doing that is getting you continually kicked.

There is nothing to be held accountable for.
Blizzard has already stated if the group does not want you in the group then you are gone.

I agree with this.
The fact that thier kicking causes disruption to another players playtime should force the kicker to justify thier kicks.

No justification = no penalty.

“OH but tanks and healers holding groups hostage…”

Who cares? They arent grouped with you anymore, you donʻt have to deal with them again at all once they are kicked. move on with your life rather than pining for the ability to punish someone.

There’s no way Blizzard will enforce legitimate vs non legitimate kicks because some of it is quite subjective, but much more importantly, it is absolutely not worth having a human review every complaint that would arise.

The best you can hope for would be some kind of ramping debuff based on repeat occurrences, kind of like the res cooldown timer for dying too many times in some period. You need something automatable that doesn’t require judgment calls.

I can think of a better fix. Make the game keep a record of people who initiate kicks a lot and have it give those people lowest priority when assembling random dungeon groups. If kicking is your first reaction to any little situation then lets prioritise the people who choose to try any talk about mechanics and help others to complete dungeons instead. At the moment there is zero penalty for abusing the kick feature. If there was then maybe people might try to explain mechanics to people who dont understand or to let the guys trying to get gear actually finish the dungeon instead of kicking them for some already high geared dood…

Then a super AI would analyze the reason and decide if the kick goes through. For example the AI would calculate average dps and if your dps was ok it would deny the kick. Because AI is just oh so good and wonderful now!

A good way to not get kicked is doing content that is appropriate for your gear. Not running heroics in greens

I see lots of votes kicks, we don’t pass usually, with jsut bad, /bad stuff like that. Runs that are going average or better than average even have these instant no’s.

No thanks. I don’t need any AI to tell me if I want someone in my group or not. I also don’t need AI to tell me what I think average, high or low dps is. If you are going to go the AI route, get rid of characters and just push a button and raid like those stupid table things they had in retail.
