Would I be able to get a better explanation as to why I was permabanned?

Err…

That is the point Vorsol was making - that streamlining is against the rules. Multiboxing isn’t, as long as it is done correctly.

It helps if you don’t misquote or try to take things out of context in an attempt to bolster whatever argument you’re trying to make.

Op gives off the “exploit early, exploit often” vibe.

Expoits are frowned on but botting and RMT are down right hated. Either of those can go straight to a perma ban. You can not compare the two as they are very different.

Finish the quote next time. You conveniently left out a vital part of the post which is pretty disingenuous to be honest.

We as fellow players do not know the exact reason for your ban and the players trying to help you are giving you legitimate possible reasons that we have seen trigger the ban in past events. Yes, we are guessing in the hope that you are at least being honest with yourself so that this doesn’t ever happen to you again.

Being rude and combative does not help you in any way. We are not lying to you. Being fan boys or are blind to the shortcomings of Blizzard as a whole. We just have been around this particular forum long enough to see many Botting/RMT threads and have a decent understanding of the situation that we as fellow players can share.

Just a few possibilities that come to mind and none of these are accusations they are just possibilities.

Multi-boxing with the aid of some external software that is not part of the game it self. Even utilities in Microsoft are not allowed to be used to quickly move from one client to the other. Other forms of software do the same thing. These are not allowed. As well as any form of software that streamlines anything within the game. If someone decides to multi-box it is best to play the game with each client as if were a single client at a time. In the past these rules were slightly different but times have changed.

It is possible that something was sold and not on the auction house. A direct trade for a large amount of gold may have brought in some dirty gold and your account was caught in the cross fire.

Having software on your computer for work or even other games can trigger Warden. I’m not exactly in the know about what programs that are work related could cause the problem but I do know they are out there. But as for other games I certainly wouldn’t have any trainers, mouse wigglers, or auto scrolling programs running while playing the game.

And of course there is the chance that actual Botting/RMT has happened and the player is trying their best at acting innocent in the hope that someone official will believe them.

Good luck with your appeals.

Common misconception. When it comes to drastic actions such as license/account closure, it’s rarely from something recent.

The behaviors that caused the action are usually weeks, sometimes months, before the action. This is because the investigation was far, far more than “5 minutes”.
