WOTLK without RDF isn't WOTLK

And yet you claim one system would make it worse, but magically now the reason is 15 year old game.

Can’t have the cake and eat it too, pick one.

Lots of people like leveling alts, no reason not to implement at lower levels…now.

I just love the title of this thread.

I guess 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 were not wotlk according to this thread.

Either way we are playing wotlkc, not wotlk. If you are unhappy with that, there are hundreds of other games to play.

But you have. Every second you are playing that private server your are experiencing Blizzard’s Intellectual Property and not paying Blizzard for it or providing their servers with the additional active player count.

You are stealing from Blizzard every single time you log into that private server and play.

It’s all subject and i truly do believe in having my cake and eating it too. That’s why i enjoy the lfg tool and think Blzzard did a wonderful think by implementing it. My server is booming. I’m leveling in classic and I see and join groups all the time. I love seeing them off in the world before and after the group. I’m having a blast, so you fail at adapting. But thisbway makes the game seem so organic instead of a dungeon grind slide show.

And what if a person paying Blizz sub and playing on a private server?

Stealing is a crime. Crime is met with punishment. Blizzard has not and will not terminate my account or seek further legal action against me. Why not? Because there is no legal precident over playing on private servers. There never will be. I dare you to try and find what legal code states it is illegal to play on a private server.

Furthermore, how much money does or doesn’t go into Blizzards pockets really is no concern of mine. I’m not a shareholder. I have no fiduciary obligations to Blizzard.

Now stop trying to pretend you’re a internet web lawyer. You’re terrible at thus and come off a foolish and trolling.

You can create your rationalizations and pretend all you want but that’s not true. Knowingly receiving stolen goods is a crime. It is illegal. That you don’t have to take responsibility for your criminal behavior because you won’t get caught and there are no consequences doesn’t suddenly make it legal. It’s minor criminality and the government doesn’t have adequate resources to punish all minor criminals so you’re in the clear. In some hypothetical perfect world everyone who played on those private servers should have been charged and made to pay a small fine.

You’re a truck driver so theft of intellectual property doesn’t affect you. But if you were a content creator and your income depended on copy write laws being enforced you’d have a different opinion on the issue.

Lol ypu have no solid grounds to stand on. This conversation is dead. I never recieved anything. I didn’t pay to play on those servers. There are several private server content creators. A simple YouTube search wouldve told you that. Many have been around for years. No charges on them either. Nothing. Nada. You got squat but hollow words. How’s it feel to lose? Ahh this feels good. I’m going to take it all in. Your quarll is with the server host. Not the players. Go take it up with them and you can leave me alone. This discussion is terminated (unlike my account). I’ll keep enjoying wotlk classic and thanking Blizzard for finally giving me what i wanted them to do since forever.

Thank you Blizzard!

So, for much of original WoTLK it had no RDF. Now I’d like an RDF but it seems clear to me that the gaming experience is sufficiently authentic at this point in P1 without (as was the case originally).

If we get to ICC dungeons and still don’t have it then we have a jarring difference that would be inauthentic.

No, my quarrel is with the players first and the servers second. If there weren’t thieves willing to collaborate with the server host there would be no server hosts. It doesn’t matter if you personally paid the server host. It’s still a crime. And some people usually did pay. There have been law suits against the server hosts. Scapegaming lost a multimillion dollar law suit from blizzard. Sometimes they just shut the server down. Nostalrius is the largest one that was shut down. That servers still exist and some aren’t shut down and players aren’t punished doesn’t mean it’s not illegal. That’s like telling the cop who gave you a speeding ticket that dozens of cars passed you going even faster and they didn’t get a speeding ticket. Again, lots of criminal behavior isn’t punished because the cost in court time and lawyers etc. is too high.

But sometimes the government does go directly to those who receive goods. There’s a huge market for predator bird feathers. It was too difficult and costly to catch the poachers so the government passed a law to make the mere possession of an owl, eagle, hawk etc. feather illegal. It doesn’t matter how you got it, gift, bought, found on the ground. If you’re caught in possession of an illegal feather there’s more than a thousand dollar fine, for each feather.

It’s very clear that everyone wants RDF. I don’t know why it hasn’t been added yet. Stupid move.

Blizzard is known for their mistakes and trying to fix them far too late.

loled at that post. most ur posts are for this sort of idea. also reading the sentence never said you in particular are currently turning blue in the face, I said no point arguing it and turning blue in the face.

No, the loud minority want it. The majority sre either to busy playing the game to care one way or the other or dont want it.

He has a reading comprehension issue.

In a different thread i was in with him i told the OP of said thread that if he wasnt having fun with classic he could play a different game (it was another rdf cry thread). Then mire went on a rant about “fun” that was unrelated to what i was even saying, lol.

Yup, can confirm.

See, that’s interesting, because it’s impossible to know who the majority and who the minority is, in this case.

The experience thus far is FAR from authentic.

Did wotlk have rdf in 3.0?

That is the current phase we are on.

So its more athentic to not have rdf at this time.

You might not like that, but it is true.
