I read respected and authoritative news sites, academic papers, and books by acknowledged experts in their field. The only way I learn about false narratives and conspiracies is when I read an article informing me that one is gaining traction among the uneducated and debunking them.
You’re mistaking the goals I have when I post. I have a lot of reasons. Sometimes the goal is to point out a lie. Sometimes it’s just to piss off a person I don’t like. Sometimes it’s to twist them up so their stupidity is reveled. Sometimes it’s just to bump the thread to keep the issue on the front page.

It’s so sad how far the education system in this country has fallen. Not only has the size of many people’s vocabulary declined percipitously but many people now days don’t even know the definition of many common words and they don’t care enough to use a dictionary to correct that deficit.
