Can we please have 3.0 prepatch during the Halloween event, just like we had back then? It fit the theme so damn well.
That’s really early though.
Hallows end so the horseman lighting towns on fire while ghouls swarm the land…hmm.
Sure I guess that sounds fun.
I’m ready to move on from BC. I think most in my boat feel the same way. Perhaps if it wasn’t mismanaged, I’d be more inclined to see the whole thing through; which I’m going to do anyways but given my current situation, I’m only getting so much out of the game due to the lack of people to interact with.
I don’t care if you’re ready to, “move on”. BT/MH isn’t even out yet, ZA isn’t out yet (no matter how much less major of a phase it is), and SWP isn’t out yet. There’s a lot of content left.
We don’t need to rush the final phases because you’re bored.
Who’s we? You think there’s more of you than those like the OP and I?
I imagine there’s a lot of players that want Wrath more than they want to finish TBC, but ultimately it doesn’t matter because Wrath will come in time. But Blizzard doesn’t have to cut the content we care about for you because you’re impatient.
Then the BC community doesn’t have to move on to wrath if it doesn’t want to. Why do we have to wait for our preferred version?
Unless…
You intend to force us to finish this one just because you need to satisfy your endeavors.
You can’t just go from saying there’s a, “lack of people to interact with” and then suggest the TBC community just stay behind when many people are also interested in Wrath. You have to wait for your preferred version because TBC isn’t done yet, and rushing through it is a disservice to the players who actually want to be here.
No one is forcing you to play, either. Feel free to quit.
Wrath won’t magically fix your issues either.
I didn’t. You’re just making things up.
You’re not in a position to determine that; and yes, they will.
That is the nature of wrath.
The first thing you said to me was you’re, “done” with TBC because you don’t have anyone to interact with.
You think Wrath will give you more players to interact with?
TBC has been out for like 7 months and we JUST hit phase 3? 8 months from now seems perfectly reasonable.
3 months BT/MH, 1 - 2 months of ZA and then 3 months of Sunwell.
Where is the problem?
The prepatch will come when it comes. Let’s not rush these things.
With LFD, it wouldn’t matter if my server is dead or not, I can scour other servers to find the players I need. That is just one example.
Unless of course, you wish to champion the removal of X-realm. Then I’d be in the same position I am now.
So yes, thanks to LFD, it would “magically” give me players to interact with.
Rather have it delayed until 2022 then. WotLK prepatch is not the same without Hallow’s End rounding up with it.
No one is forcing you… You can quit and come back if that’s what you want, or you can keep playing and move on to WotLK with everyone else. That’s 100% your decision.
ROFL at forced!!!
lol what on earth do you think wrath will fix if you’re bored now?
Worse raids? Long periods of boring stagnant content? Easier heroics that offer no rewards beyond badges? More dailies? Gearscore?
If you are in the way of the next expac coming out earlier than anticipated, then you are forcing others to play something they don’t want; If then you suggest they quit, then you are still forcing them to take an action they don’t want either.
Where does it say that we absolutely have to follow the patched timeline? They could have just as well started with BC or Lich for the return of classic.
You’re describing every version of WoW since BC, ever. Plus, all of this is subjective and you’re describing these things as if I found them to be negative. Of this list, only fools took gearscore seriously.
Cata had hard heroics, harder raids
People referred to “wrath babies” for a reason - the game was made more casual/alt/new player friendly. Which is great, but to the classic audience…it’s going to be massively boring
Subjective; but, if you say so. Even before the nerfs, I was healing Cata heroics blindfolded.
