I wouldn’t plan on playing much tomorrow.
There is no planned downtime.

Play yes, the boats may spaz out if too many people are there. Theoretically though, yes. They have been doing seamless launches for a while now.

Didnt servers go down for tbc launch? Dont remember…and i mean going down for prep not cuz of traffic overload or whatever
I wasn’t here for launch, but from what I have heard they didn’t go down. They haven’t been going down on retail for years.
Yes, like every expansion launch… U just sit there in orgrimmar till the xpa hits and the first zepe arrives… No need to shut down servers…
I think it’s probably not going to be flawless. I expect the boat to just start going along with experience bar showing at the same time. I expect smaller servers will have less issues but this is normal(unfortunately). I expect mega servers will have word servers down at times, mass dcs, among other things. My plan is to rush to dungeon and hope I’m safe in there from extreme lag, world server down, 20k queue, and “ddos attack”.

Hehe it’s been 30 mins, not an hour.
Restarts are happening now. The boats should be going live in about 7.5 hours. We’ll probably get some normal or slightly extended maintenance tomorrow depending on what type of bugs they run into.

Which has nothing to do with someone asking if they will go down to activate wotlk.
The exp buff is supposed to end today, but is it already ended or ends at Wrath launch time?
The EXP buff is still on, so I’m guessing with Wrath.

Fresh servers keep the xp buff until transfers/boosts are allowed
