WOTLK classic came out and the rose tinted glasses fell off full tilt.
not only is WOTLK ruined by GDKP but the expansions content cycle is just not as good in comparison to MoP that had a goateed raid every tier, awesome pvp and great dungeons.

while i will still give WOTLK #2 for my expansion list, it was just never better than MoP.
Cant wait for MoP classic for this arguement of which was better to finally be put down to rest.

WoTLK good raid tier was Ulduar and ICC, the rest of the raid tier was a nightmare.
some of its dungeons were good but it also had bad dungeons.
MoP had peak dungeons, peak raids, and the only ONLY people that hate it where the people that didnt play it.
People are gonna burn out on Siege of Orgrimmar twice as fast as they did with Ulduar, if we get that far into this Classic anthology.
What was the goated raid in Tier 14? Vaults of the geriatric panda that never shut up? Heart of Fear aka the worst raid ever made? Or Terrace of the Eternal Spring being a repeat of ToGC but even worse?
Mists of Pandaria was great.

Not to mention the rep grinding. Ghostcrawler bragged about removing the daily quest cap so we could do all the new factions dailies, because rep grinding was mandatory. You had to have multiple reps just to buy badge gear. Justice and valor points vendors gear required different reps for each slot, and if you fell behind on your dailies you were screwed.
We all know how much the playerbase loves mandatory rep grinding, and MoP is the worst offender for that.
MoP also removed dungeon rep tabards. Dailies are your ONLY option!
Good thing rep is optional. There is no BiS enchant tied to it, or any relevant gear. Besides, at least you have something to do rather than raidlog Wrath
The only thing I enjoyed about mop was the RBGās. Whatever expac youāre rooting for though you need to remember the player base has changed dramatically. If you think GDKPās and gatekeeping are going away I got a bridge to sell you.
Youāre blaming GDKP on wrath. That makes absolutely no sense. GDKP is a player invention that has nothing to do with whatever game it is being performed on. ANY version of the game can have GDKP. Your precious mists, if they even rehost it, will most likely have GDKP raids on it as well.
In what way(s) do you propose that GDKPs have āruinedā WotLK?
You might have lived MoP, but do you think the Classic Team will give you an authentic MoP?

MoP is the start of Retail so it canāt be Classic. Itās not going to happen.
I really have a deep hate and resentment towards MoP. I remember seeing the trailer for MoP and cringing. For the first time I didnāt buy a WoW expansion at launch and played other games. I knew the dynasty and WoW as we loved was gone.

False. We had the exact same system in original Wrath. We just didnāt call it GDKP back then.
No RBGs in Cata. Just regular BGs where you can get your titles as before, that way DKs can get them as well. And allow us to be able to use the time travel to see the old zones before they got destroyed by the Cataclysm.
When TBC launched back in the day, all you had to do was not buy the TBC expac and you still had your unchanged Classic world, when WoTLK launched, all you had to do was not buy the expac and you still had the unchanged worldā¦ when Cata launchedā¦it ruined everything and that was the expac where they made it to where you HAD to buy the newer version in order to keep playing as the world was changed and the Vanilla version was gone. So Cata is officially when Vanilla died.
