amen. pservers are the worst
Who cares. Abiding by a set standard is dominionism and is more retail esque and you realize.
If people want to get buffs let them.
If they donāt then donāt
I agree 100%. TBC was the part of the game I started playing when I began WoW. Nothing since TBC in my opinion has been as good.
So the following raid they had to reverse courseā¦ make the smallest raid they have ever done.
TBC was a boring grind with easy dugwons and easy raids. WLK is much better. DF is the best.
TBC dungeons are a lot harder than wrathā¦
Wrath was when the game had the most subs during all of WoWās run. Cata is what began the downward sub count
It is also when subs plateauedā¦ meaning WotLK is when the number of people unsubscribing first reached a point where it matched new people joining. Not exactly a strong sign for how great the expansion is supposed to be.
DF all around is more fun and worth playing than Classic wrath in every category
Welcome to what weāve been saying forever. WOTLK was widely hated by the playerbase even when it was current for these same reasons. You can still find message boards on the old web of people complaining about blizzard catering to the CoD gamer.
Some people just had to play it a second time to remember just how garbage of an expansion WOTLK was
Literally just about every heroic and every raid is harder than itās WOTLK equivalent in TBC
Iāve never heard a more checkmate term for the difference in wow players than COD gamers
Perfectly describes the situation
Vanilla+TBC were the best times I had with the game but even then I didnt like things like the nerfs to reputations for heroic keys and things of that sort.
Wrath just turned everything sideways and it was all downhill from there. At least the lore was good and integrated well. After that though there isnt much to write home about.
But lets take a look at that era? When subs peaked we were in a global financial recession . $15 a month was very cheap entertainment (still is). By the time Cataclysm was in full swing, the economy took a turn for the better and people were going back out and spending money.
There is an elephant in the room when subscriber counts are being thrown around within this era.
That aināt the reason bro.
LOL! Although I found it fun, I remember the outcry from the forum during P2, as many people, it turns out, really donāt enjoy WPvP.
those two are very much related. sure its anecdotal, but its why me and my friends decided to give the game a try.
There is a solution to wpvp. Rolling on a pve server. Itās not our fault people were too proud and prideful to roll pve so they could fit in with the pvp server
Well, its not fun when the other faction is extremely undermanned. I have never liked zergān down people. My wpvp is fighting for a questing area, defending a town from gankers. Nothing makes me more happy than turning around a gank and saving that person that is getting 1vX. But, 10 people vs 5 people? I dont find that fun.
Granted in a lot of cases it was just the faction did not have alot of pvpārs. Herod the alliance just didnt pvp. My guild use to shut down BRM on raid days. =)
I xfered off Faerlina because there was no alliance to fight out in the world. On Grobbulus its been fantastic again to see alliance up and about. They are very active and even attack horde cities. Iām super happy here.
P2 nightmare was a product of blizzard not understanding their own game.
What you do is release honor around the time DM comes out, and can even release honor at launch. They released honor at once so the entire server had to farm. Releasing it earlier means people will prio making gold and prebis etc unless they are dead set on gen1 14.
You do not release the gear until battlegrounds. Which can come right before bwl releases, or as it releases.
Anything later than that and server is doa
It doesnt matter when one faction is the carebear of the server and we all know which one that was.
In a lot of cases, there would be more alliance in the zone that horde were ganking and they wouldnt teamup/help kill em. Thatās not blizzardās fault.
