I mean, I’m all for going back to same realm and traveling to BG root locations for queueing, if that’s what you’re suggesting, but I can only react to what Blizzard actually does, not to fictional things they [likely] won’t do.
The removal of DF has always been a mainstream topic for classic players, and that’s why it’s happening. The removal of cross-server BGs and Warmasters has no such legacy behind it so it’s unlikely to be subject to change as much as DF was.
They have announced the removal of DF, they are unlikely to extend this to BG warmasters or cross server BG/arena.
This isn’t exactly the slam dunk point you think you’re making. I understand and appreciate that you’re aiming to identify consistency errors, but I was never a “pro-cross server BGs/Arena/Warmasters” person to begin with.
It hasn’t though. RDF has never been a big topic for classic players until the terrible announcement was made. Occasionally you’d see it mentioned, but it was assumed by the majority that it’d be baseline in wrath. False narrative doesn’t work on me, which you should’ve noticed by now.
The false narrative is suggesting that the Classic community leading up to classics release did not have strong opinions about DF. Straight up revisionist history, really.

Or just allow the retail version that is used for m+. List what dungeon you want to run and then you get people to sign up but just spamming trade is mind numbing and makes thing way harder.

Thats the important part. These players have been crying about wow for decades now because they have such fragile egos they cant handle they are not good at the game. They do everything they can to gatekeep now, to the point the would rather the game die. Its sad.
