I don’t care about “diverse” rosters. I’ve worked with plenty of people in my time. It’s people that feel that’s necessary to interject with their own politics. There is a certain limit to how much it can extend into the game in terms of a moral dilemma but, when it comes in the shape of this is moral and this isn’t moral rather than making a player decision it’s gone too far.

I’d also add as to why is it necessary? I DM campaigns for people who come from wide backgrounds and I just add characters for them to interact with. There isn’t any dialogue or data that pops up telling them XYZ gender, 123 pounds, and loves blueberries. So why burden players with unnecessary information/features?
I must have missed where anyone not on a pitifully small population server made that argument. I certainly haven’t. I maintain that dealing with LFG chat is unreasonably tedious.
I can think of ONE example in the story and its pelagos, which is largely untouched on in game.
While I do dislike sylvannas the reason this expac was bad was not because we have a focus on a few woman characters, its bad writing all around. without evidence of characters being intentionally killed off to push the three you mention I’m more inclined to believe you just don’t want a female lead team in game or are just unhappy with the overall writing of the SL story. Nothing you posted is an example of a agenda being pushed.
Gendered pronouns being included do not affect you in any way. not worth being mad over and definitely not something hurting the game.
the old guard being gone is a good thing for the work environment, though since you come off as holding the old team in high regard i can guess a bit of why you do so and it does not lend any credibility to your aforementioned claims.

Drag reading hour is outreach to combat homophobia and bigotry. Why shouldn’t a drag queen care about children enough to spend their time doing community out reach? Drag reading hour is a net positive.
Stripping children is something I saw one video of once by one person and has been since blown up into a huge pile of nothing.
the late term abortions is new to me but that sounds outlandish and is more then likely meant in hyperbole. the reason you “can’t detail” your agenda is because it is not real. It exists in your head and the propaganda machine around you. you cannot confront outward bias until you confront your own internal bias, which you very much seem to still have.
you realize until you got here no one had mentioned personal politics, diversity, secret agendas? you are currently the one injecting politics into what was just a drawn out disagreement between the player base and Zip.
I have yet to see anything truly hurtful injected into the game on the basis of any of these agendas you’re pushing.
I’m pretty unhappy with the story. I’d prefer the Ripley from Aliens anyday compared to this low tier story writing.
I find it to be an unnecessary feature that’s bogged down by identity politics and adding will only further increase those politics being interjected in some fashion.
Okay, so you obviously have campaigns of some fashion within the company pushing for those ideals correct? So it’s an agenda from one particular spectrum to normalize a wide range of behavior. One quote that always stuck with me is “When are you ever told to be tolerant of something that is good?”. Legit need a citation on sex offenders as my sub is about to expire and if there’s legit proof of new hires being sex offenders it may change my mind on resubbing, if there’s not then whomever your referencing is probably from the “old guard” you hold up. As a company ActiBlizz failed to curate a safe and comfortable work environment and is at current trying to distance themselves from the actions of the old guard, which caused them to make most of their changes, not an outside agenda, the old guard caused the need for radical workplace changes. Also why is employing victims bad? and can you prove ANY hire was motivated by a quota?
The want for rdf in wotlkc is born from entitlement and anti social behavior.
I played for about 3 hours tonight and got in 2 N rampart groups on my alt that i am leveling, 2 shadow lab groups on my main. I didn’t need the SL runs, but I was helping someone who wanted to farm rep (no I didn’t know the person). And I got another person added to my friends list from it.
You not being able to get groups isn’t the games fault. You have options that you refuse to use.
No, it’s not… We’re just wanting something that was originally in the game to be added to classic wrath. That doesn’t fall under entitlement.
If anything, demanding that it be changed/removed is entitlement.
Demanding that RDF be put in during TBC, or in Pre-patch. That might be entitlement.
Asking for the game features to remain as-in… not entitlement.
A system that existed in tbc and wotlk to help friends join their friends in azeroth. Which is the exact reasoning they have for the boosts. And recruit a friend isn’t there thisbtime around.
But it’s not a change. Wotlk existed with, and without rdf. In fact rdf was in the game for less time than it was not in wotlk.
Not having rdf is authentic to wotlk as the majority of wotlk did not have rdf in it. This is one of those instances were both having it and not having it is technically authentic.
They served the same purpose in blizzards eyes. Its just that the boost is the “updated” version. I’m going by what blizzard said when they added RaF and what they said when they added boosts. It was the same thing. To get friends to play together in wow.
60% of wotlk did not have rdf, 40% did. The majority did not have rdf. And the only reason it’s as high as 40% having it is because 3.3 was a huge content drought being one of the longest patches in wows history.
