Seems to be a lot of WotLK talk in the BC forum given it’s only been out less than 2 months…?
(And I say that as someone whose endgame is WotLK)

They were fine until all of the PvPers came to the forums and started complaining about “balance”. They started chipping away at what made each class unique and often messed up PvE in the name of “balance”.

Wotlk is a straight upgrade over tbc in terms of class development. Ill play both but wotlk is definately more smooth in the gameplay department

There were far less useless specs. Rets dominated early wrath same with DKs who were broken early wrath most classes got an aoe ability and even a self heal in some form warriors added healing to victory rush, rogues got there self heal, warriors had 2 options for fury either titans grip or single minded fury, shockadins could deal nasty dps in dungeons while also healing, DKs had technically 3 tank specs but in all reality it was 2 and unholy tanking was not a good fit. Paladins became the face roll tank class, prot warriors got more aoe threat than just thunderclap. Lots of changes.
Idk when I think of wotlk arena ret is the last thing that scares me.

All these top tier comps ret isn’t on.
Destro was godlike. You could kill a fully geared player in a couple of globals. I used to hang out in Wintergrasp after the fight and wreck people at the vendor.

I couldn’t care less about your rating. In WPvP, I only struggled against priests. …and that Warlock that camped the FP at the Aliiance base in Dragonblight. He in a structure.
Not everything is about pvp lol I didn’t say ret was good in pvp I said they were op at launch which they were… DKs were definitely op in pvp again who cares about meta comps…a ret will annihilate you in 1v1 or in open world if they use early wrath stats… go sweat somewhere else pvp in wow isn’t exactly skilled play…

No one cares about world pvp.
Flying has already killed that, people only care about competitive PvP and ret is lackluster at that.
I don’t think in all my years of wow I have ever been scared to kill a ret in the world.

Yeah, we had one camp the FP in our keep there. He’d get you as soon as you landed. You weren’t worth honor, but I don’t think it mattered.
