bless up frfr no cap.
Okay
in what areas would you say it ranks higher than the competition?
wotlk is my favorite xpac and i like every change they’ve made to it so far. especially heroic + and easier pvp gearing, aka being able to get weapons for honor on fresh 80s and cheap gear between seasons. some QoL things like account bound rep chants, ilvl adjustment, and collections are nice too.
only thing i miss about old wrath is the 300% exp gain i always had through recruit-a-friend.
Upper average at best
It’s alright. Far from the best.
Nah, WotLK was good at the time considering nothing else came close to it. Nowadays it’s cumbersome next to Retail.
I’d argue classic is only good as the latest content is, and ICC is now here. That’s the thing everyone is doing or working towards, so if you want to be hip and social, your goal from level 1 is ICC. Otherwise, it’s nice to experience the lore of the pre-Cata world like when it comes to the Defias and that can be experienced slowly at your own pace. If you aren’t doing either of those two things, why else would you play classic vs Retail?
Not sure… replaying it makes me realize it’s where they started the “play the patch not the xpac” which was even made worst with the catchup mechanics.
It’s really right now focused on people who are playing since day 1… anyone joining right now will have a mediocre experience of only doing dungeons and skipping 3 raid tiers because dungeons are better to get loot.
Not sure it’s the way it should be. Gear is just too easy to get right now. And I know it’s only getting worst with time.
