I’d like to thank blizzard for smurfing hunters so bad in wrath that really no-one wants them in their raids, we went from being in the top 5 percent in dps, to the bottom. I appreciate the effort, you did a good job.
I mean hunters are still solid.
Just not really scaled in Prepatch.

Hunters are fine in WotLK. The real problem is the change in PvE rotation which makes them way less interesting to play. Still really fun in PvP at least.
BM hunters don’t do well through most of wrath - but remain a very easy class to solo. Survival hunters do very well in some tiers.

Both survival and MM do very well in WotLK and there’s over a decade worth of data to support that.

Sweaty, faceroll, elitist parsing e-sport guilds have always been that way, with regards to excluding players of certain classes/specs in order to stack the meta. Plenty of other guilds out there who welcome any class & spec to their raids, to play the easiest WoW xpac ever.

MM Hunter is top 5 dps, it just requires more skill to play than TBC BM hunter

Hunters are upper middle of the pack at least imo, maybe top 5

Hunters are absolute MONSTERS in wotlk. It’s the only class i fear on my mage.

TBC Hunter is literally the hardest iteration of hunter and prolly the hardest class in TBC.
No more clipping shots and no more melee weaving in WOTLK.

I think the reality is Feral is difficult to play in pvp so i dont encounter many good ones. That’s probably why i don’t fear them.
