I don’t know if there’s a better way since I am also mostly new, but I just toss my glamours into my glamour chest-mirror-thing in my inn rooms and do it there.
This is what I do, and have several Galmour Plates that I swap between in the main cities
yeah it’s the best way but the dying gets pretty weird
oh i forgot to mention, the sole purpose of PvP is for glamour sets and fancy mounts and titles. I bought 2 different sets

I’m leveling an Au Ra in Gridania named Lavender Grey and I’ve seen you around. I’ll have to wave at you next time.
I decided to make my Miqo’te a traumatized amnesiac hermit who’s been living alone in the woods since the Catastrophe or whatever it’s called. I figure I can’t mess up the lore too badly by playing a character who doesn’t know it any better than I do.

Roegadyn are big burly nerds that either live near the ocean or came down from a Volcano because living too up close next to a volcano where the ground is mostly rocks is obviously a bad idea so they send some of their people away to not strain their incredibly limited resources
the ocean ones have the viking names, the volcano ones have names that are downright peak comedy because their names consist of Adjective + Noun and can literally be anything
