a non meta dps that weak by themself/ can get overrun easily if you mess up. reasons being

  1. weak in overworld, so slow at xp

  2. cant get into duggs or raids fast, slow xp/ not getting gear fast

Arcane is literally the worst spec of the three. Boring as heck to play, boring animations, and has almost always been the weakest of the three.

a “tanky pet”.lol!!! good joke.

they used to have a good tanky pet, but the vw got nuked ages ago and is like a wet piece of paper now. sure, it can take a hit or two but it dosnt agrro enough or have enough survivability

For me it’s any caster that isn’t a balance Druid. I don’t mind elemental shammies though I get bored of them pretty quick.

I play Demonology on my Lock and I use the Felrguard. Lasts a good long while if you pay attention to its health.

You should give them another go. Balance Druids have gotten much better from Legion onwards. I loved playing mine in Legion and BfA. That will be my next alt leveled.

playing aff and not having access to izzykryz (my locks bff) is enough reason to never switch away from demo. i pretend aff is my os and ignore destro entirely. but /spit on no felguard.

see, arcane feels like the only one that actually does damage to some mobs. i’ve tried frost, and it definitely slows’em down, but sometimes… it feels like i’m doin nothin to’em. and fire… fire to me, just feels weak in-general against mobs.

I don’t know how anyone does a Shaman anymore. 25 mins for each cast…yikes.

fire is one of those '‘you suck until you have raid level %s of x stats’" specs.

and that’s a shame, since thematically, it’s great, and graphically it’s got some great transmogs.

I worded that wrong. Only caster I like is balance Druid. The rest I just can’t really get in to cause I’m not good at them.

Priest is pretty easy mode to me. If you are running disc. Keep atonement up, smite, penance on cd. Dot entire screen of mobs. Listen to your favorite podcast while you slowly grind down all of the mobs. Shadow has been easier to me than mage. Mage and shammy are my pita classes to level.

Has to be your setup on Frost. If you have the spec right and the buttons arranged to get a good rotation, they should barely hit you and you should be able to nuke the heck out of them.

Fire is a little more tricky, takes some clever use of Frost Nova, your free Pyros, Phoenixes and Fire Blasts, and hopefully you went Night Fae so you can make a quick retreat with your Soulshape when needed.

Fire requires a little more work, but if you play it well, you can take down a decent sized group.

never said priest was difficult, just said it was’nt fun. it’s a tedious, TEDIOUS class to level. it’s only really fun when healing in dungeons, but when your just out and about questing… not as fun.

I feel like Felguard lasts longer as a “tank pet” than VW does now.

VW was the go to at one point, but I feel like he gets nuked pretty hard pretty fast lately.

demo is very fun when you’re out questing and doing things in the world. is nice for dungeons too cuz of implosion.

I had fun leveling as Shadow and Disc out in the world. I didn’t do any healing and only jumped into a dungeon here and there to break things up.

Priests are more than just healers, and pretty fun to play. I’d put them middle of the pack in “fun” right now.

For me, monk, rogue and DH are bottom of the barrel on fun.

what are your most fun classes?

for me:

  1. warlock
  2. paladin
  3. shaman
  4. monk
  5. hunter

the rest are kinda fun as well but those are my favorites.
