Not a good look Blizz.

Regardless of what people think of SL as a whole the one thing everyone seems to agree on is PvP is supremely out of whack.

I think they’re waiting until after the tournament before making any major changes. It would be a little bit weird to be preparing for a tournament only to find that your entire strategy has been nerfed completely.

They won’t touch balance until after.

Also, a former dev all but confirmed PvP takes a major back seat unless something super embarrassing pops up.

Arena players, especially ones that care about pvp meta, are a vast vast minority. We’re a notch above pet battlers.

Most of the focus is around raid and PvE, which at the moment is mostly balanced. PvP…it’ll take some time.

I mean, if we’re worth 900k and an 8 month PvP league that can’t be true regardless of what they believe, and our communication about the topic should probably reflect that so they get the picture.

A World competition should not be allowed to be treated like a balance guinea pig, that’s what beta testing is for.

This is very true. Maybe, just maybe, the lack of attention they show PvP is why PvP has such low participation. Maybe the decline in subs over the years was the PvP community leaving this game for greener pastures. I dunno. I’m probably wrong but it kinda makes sense.
