The Maldraxxus World Quest “Battles Won Long Ago” does not register slain enemies at level 67. Others have already reported the same issue at higher level. There are a number of earlier reports from before Dragonflight remarking the same issue when characters are levels 51-59.
I completed this same quest during the prepatch event at level 62 with no difficulties. This is my personal first having an issue with this particular quest.

I’ve tried this quest like 5 times already in the past week, the kill count doesn’t register with the world quest which does not allow the quest to be completed.

As they appeared since my OP, I tried all of the Battles Won Long Ago WQs on my level 70 hunter. What I noted was this: None of the npcs were marked by a highlight, yet every kill resulted in a green blob arcing into the back device. Never advancing the quest objectives.
Also, the banner for the spawned mini-boss was absent in all cases.
I tried running one of the WQs with a level 60, even then the WQ was broken for me. The level 60 completed the WQ successfully, indicating that the problem originates with being over level 60. A similar problem affected the Uther quests added in 9.1.0.39335, this was later hotfixed without any comment from Blizzard.
All other Maldraxxus WQs – at least, all those that I have so far encountered – do not seem to suffer a similar level limited bug.
I suspect that if this WQ bug is ever fixed, there will be no comment from Blizzard, it will just start working after some future hotfix.

Same. I am level 70, and no kills are being recorded.

I guess this is just another bug that Blizzard will never fix.

This is still bugged. I was trying to complete the one at Burning Thicket. I was not receiving credit at level 66. However I did find a workaround. I party synced with someone under 60 (a level 20 sitting in stormwind) to force my level down to 60. I started getting credit and eventually completed the world quest.

Still broken as of February 16th.
Just tried to do this while trying to get some of Unity’s transmog pieces, still doesn’t work.
