March 3rd, they’re still bugged. Only way to get credit & complete is with party sync, but shouldn’t have to do that just to do a WQ. This isn’t the first one in Maldraxxus that was bugged for anyone over lvl 60. Other one got fixed, Blizz needs to get on this one too. Have only run into this since DF launched.

We are now approaching 90 days of this quest and all its variants still being bugged for any player over level 60. Can we get at least some kind of reply from a Blizzard employee? I mean, come on, 90 days with no comment is not a good look.

I can offer a temporary work around until Blizzard fix the quest. If you open a second copy of Warcraft and run a seperate account with a level 1 character, invite that character into a party and then you can use party sync to become elligible for quest completion. Hardly ideal but it’s something at least.

May 3 2023, this bug still exists.
Are people reporting it as a bug, or just commenting that they too are experiencing the same issue?
I understand Blizz is busy, but, dang, at least acknowledge the bug exists and that they’ll eventually get to it.
Guys, just keep in mind that Blizzard recently suffered a ton of ‘soft layoffs’ due to return-to-work policies and they said they were having to make ‘crisis maps’ of what they can and cannot ship and straight striking out schedules as people handed in notice. A lot of core talent for WoW and other games.
This bug is definitely still happening. I made sure I was within bounds/coords, fought multiple enemies that were tagged under their name as included with the quest. Just doesn’t react at all or update the ‘slain’ count.
Personally, as a developer, I understand this might not be high on their priority list and if that’s the case, I get it. They’ve been shipping great freaking content despite all this and I am really hoping we don’t lose what makes WoW what we want.

Can confirm that 70’s also cannot complete this I am not entirely sure the cut of level for this bug but I did it on one of my level 50 twinks and it worked as intended.I have submitted a couple bug reports on this also yet here we are. Far as I know this is the only bugged world quest for 60+ levelled characters.
If there is more than just this I would love to know.
