I also can’t log in on any characters as of about 5 minutes ago. Loading screen stuck 90-100%.
–I got in after 7 minutes but then can’t log out just severe server lag all around.

I have been unable to log in to any character of Area 52 for about 5mins now.

Same. Went to log in and it loads about 85%-90% and then disconnects. Server: Earthen Ring.

Same, I had to force close the game, I have been trying to get back in but either get the world server down or stuck on the loading screen.

I’ve managed to get the bar to 100% and can hear others logging in as if I’ve made it on, but I’m still on loading screen. lol

When I tried to log back in it told me a character with this name already exists…

Gnomeregan-US, Trollbane-US, Moonrunner-US, all reporting world server down when trying reconnect after a disconnect. Before the original disconnect there was a huge lag spike.
Edit First: After a reboot, router reboot, and general network debug on my end, all is good to go. Reloading the game, I get through to the character screen, can switch servers as normal, so not an authentication problem. Select a toon and try to login fully, get a full bar, then it just sits on the loading screen until dropping me out to the log-in saying world server is down. So, obviously the issue is server side.
Edit Second: Now seeing “no realms available” - check official realm status, my realms are still showing normal operations as of this edit. Seems there is more than one disconnect going on here >_<
Edit Third: a full 20 minutes after being told by the in-game client that no realms are available, official realm status now (finally) shows that all realms are offline. Obviously there is some serious failure to communicate between the various moving parts that are WOW servers.

Stormrage. Can’t log in. Get to the loading bar and then it disconnects me

I can get to the character selection screen, but then it disconnects before the login progress bar finishes.

Same problem - can’t log in…
Friend is in-game and is now getting server shutdown alerts.
Hopefully just restarts to fix the problem? No word otherwise yet…

Yeah same thing, seeing server restarts going out in about 10 mins, hopefully to fix the problem.

Been stuck on login screen forever… when it times out I try again and get stuck again
