In DF it was Tuesday and Friday but seems a little random in TWW. Is this a new fomo mechanic or am I just missing a schedule listed somewhere?
Generally speaking, each world quest lasts 3 days with a staggered schedule, while the dragonflying races reset Tuesday/Friday, and the pvp/pet battle world quests last for one day, similar to how things were in the Emerald Dream/Zaralek Caverns rather than all changing at once like the original 4 parts of the Dragon Isles.
Ah so it do be the fomo lol. Thanks for the answer.
I wouldn’t really call it fomo. You have three days on average to do them and the big ticket quests are active all week.
I think it strikes a nice balance between the older everyday resets (legion, BFA, Shadowlands) and the 2x weekly of DF. Having it only 2x a week wasnt very engaging for people who spend more time in game.
This system allows for more flexibility for everyone.
I mean twice a week was fine. Once a week would be even better. As I then don’t have to schedule daily checks on many characters…so it is fomo. It is fine every live service game does it now. Just don’t understand why so many dance around it…
You don’t have to do daily checks. One cycle is roughly Tuesday through Friday and the other Friday through Monday. Generally, logging in on a Wednesday and a Saturday would get them all, if you do all the ones available each time.
I had a little fomo when I saw a quest for boots about to vanish in less then 30 minutes. It would be nice if you could at least see a list of quests or even if the WoW app had a option to see them all in a list for all my fav characters.
You mean the app that shut down in when TWW launched?
Didn’t it combine with the auth two factor app?
No. the wow app is gone, the battle.net app had the authenticator app included in it.
Ahhh have not checked it out. But still a easier weekly list for many characters would help a lot. Having to bounce around many characters is meh to see what quests are offering.
