I’ll back off when they fix the problem that’s been reported two months ago and they now have 5 days to fix.
That was their response to appealing their statement of “we have no solution” with “Deduct the currency from me and provide me with the item.”
That had to have been after multiple appeals. If you wish to persist then that’s your prerogative, but they can and will shut your account down if you keep at it.
You spoiled me Blizz, it’s been a cool event. Not perfect, but good & I hope you have a lessons learned list for the next iteration.

My apologies if you thought I was replying to something you said with my initial post, it was never my intention. I was replying to the post in general and hoping I could make a request to someone who mattered.
It’d be cool if we got to keep the bags we purchased with bronze as well, in case that got buried.

They get released on the 20th after maintenance. Still have at least 2 1/2 days if you have early access or 6 days for official launch.
Kinda lame that excess Bronze just vanishes into the ether, especially if you bought literally everything you could with Bronze… Why isn’t there a conversion of like 1 bronze → 5 silver or something?
I thought the Infinite Dragonflight were our friends after we dealt with that dying sister business (because hey, the death of your sister justifies the extermination of billions of lives across the multiverse).
They have multiple stories throughout the game, it would be a “remix” where every one of those events they would be thwarted actually went in their favor. It would be more than just one expansion, it encompasses them all.
There have been a lot of people who used some exploit? (I don’t know what it is) They apparently were able to cap gold on many toons and they didn’t report the bug. I really hope they’re getting banned for good. If they’re allowed back into retail with that amount of gold, the economy will crash and burn. I’m hoping for the game’s sake, that Blizzard is keeping an eye of those people.
I long ago got all the mounts, toys, etc., just never did the Mythic raid for the title, which I’m not really bothered by. Today I will knock out the Proving Ground achieves since they’re easy (albeit boring) in Remix.
I do hope we see Remixes for all post-MoP expansions as filler content.

What? Really? The most I’ve been able to get by playing normally and fairly is just over 20,000g and I’m still not sure why my one character has so much other than she did all the quests and got more play.
They should cap the gold out amount at 100k or something, bring everyone down to that as I don’t see how or why anyone would get gold greater than that amount. Gold sources in the remix are extremely restricted anyways. You get gold from quests, from looting piles of gold in the scarlet dungeon off some of the mobs and I think that’s it, raid and dungeon bosses to my knowledge don’t reward gold. There are handful of trash items that can be looted as objects or otherwise in pandaria which can be vendored for low hundreds of gold.
Little concerning that they have yet to address the whole gold getting moved over in more detail. I hope they capped it, just in case the gold exploit allegations turned out to be true. Would be pretty stupid if they let people transfer over multiple gold caps from remix.

Yeah there was another post of someone saying they had gold cap on 12 alts using an exploit. I don’t know what it was but someone also talked about it in trade chat last night saying they had 4 gold capped alts ready for retail. This will destroy the economy if it’s not handled. I have a total of 34k in remix lol and I played quite a bit. So I have no idea what any of those exploits are.
Did you report these people? If you still know the approximate times and channels and servers you should open a ticket about exploitation. Even if they’re lying, lying about doing exploits can get you actioned and if they’re telling the truth it could reveal the situation to the devs in time to do something like ban all the people doing the exploiting a week from now and remove their gold.
I’d be very surprised if this exploited gold ended up surviving the conversion process. The item that allowed the exploit was hotfixed so it can’t be performed anymore, which suggests that they’re already aware of what it was being used for and already know who was doing it. Gold is meaningless in Remix though, so it’ll probably be the conversion that takes care of the issue.
IMO conversion should be like this:
Character has <=50,000g = gold moved untouched
Character has >50,000g = reduced to 50,000g
Character has more than 1,000,000 gold = obvious and knowing exploiter (no legitimate way to get this much in remix), all remix characters of account lose all gold, player is handed a short ban for exploitation.
