World of Warcraft Patch 9.0.5.0.5

And with that they put more effort in a fake patch than a real one.

Ha.
Ha.

I get it.

I would prefer if they allocate their resources to making the game better than its current, less than amazing, state, rather than telling jokes on the forums.

It’s great reading jokes about all the broken systems, unbalanced states and incomplete content and bugs, but you know…

This was not done by a developer. This was done by a low level. Them putting out Joke patch notes once a year has no effect on the game.

Still way too soon

So those people are volunteers? Blizzard doesn’t allocate resources to them? Seems strange. I find that very unlikely. You didn’t understand my point because you didn’t address it. Try again maybe?

Lighten up. Today is a day full of jokes. These patch notes probably didn’t even take an hour to throw together. I found them highly entertaining.

Love it, thanks for the many cackles!

Not gonna lie, I wouldn’t even be mad about it if this patch actually came out lolol

Cute. The writer(s) should get some praise for stepping up to the fire, to follow through on what has long Long been a tradition to have an April Fools joke.

That there doesn’t appear to be any extensive April fools joke as in past years, might be attributable to the lack of appreciation they seem to get from the vocal haters, amongst players, who really have no sense of humor anyway.

Mage * No changes needed.*

Well, at least you’re not making it worse on us.

But I love the Letterkenny joke! Keep the nerd references coming!

Damn, that content sounds better than the real live Shadowlands.

Well at least you can acknowledge the issue in a meme post. Hopefully it’s a hint of Fire getting kneecapped on the 9.1 ptr.

A jest, obviously, but a curse with the added effect of playing random ability noises - say, Rogue and Feral openers, among others - would provide fine entertainment in Battlegrounds. All the more if it also showed spell effects strike and debuffs appear that didn’t actually deal any damage to thy character.
Curse of Paranoia, perhaps, or Mania.
