I don’t mind dark, just not too dark.
BBQ pandas was a nice touch in MoP.
The community’s already dark, sure, but… wow is it the wrong kind of dark.
I gota say SWTOR story is pretty cool

What kind of dark are you referring to?
The Imperial Agent storyline was great. I enjoyed the Inquisitor, too, because you basically bumbleWTF your way through it and end up a Sith Lord. It was great. Plus, I had my own cult.
Where SWTOR dropped the ball is once you leave those planets, none of those things mattered 
and they should have.

I speak of “dark” in terms of personal character.
You can be that be what you wish.
You misunderstand. When I say someone’s personal character is dark, I mean that they themselves are a person that either does not care much for others, or who actively goes out of their way to show it.
How dark can a game rated T for teens actually be? If you want dark go play D4. Meanwhile I’m still going to be killing stuff in a “care bear” expansion.

No, “Personal character” refers to the player, not the character they’re on.

Have you seen YA fiction lately? It can get way, way darker than WoW ever has, frankly. And often does. I think you’re confusing “teen” for “middle school”.
I did. I explained that I’m referring to the character of the person, not the character they’re playing.
Be aware that the word “character” has multiple definitions, including “the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual.” This is the one referred to when you speak of the content of someone’s character.
