World of Warcraft doesn't respect your time

People fear the touch of your wrathful gaze?

Yeah, but people got to that point of skill by running as part of a team, learning the meta’s for Comp, build’s, runes, match up’s between 163 champion’s and a dozen other factor’s so that they know how to get that point.

And really, a lot of this is coming down to the fact that you ~by your own admission~ don’t have any real desire to commit to that level. Which is perfectly fine, we all have our ceilings and you have apparently hit yours.

Doesn’t mean that there is an inherent problem in the game though.

It may take you 20 mins to find a group (on average) if you dont foster a community, if you dont build relationships, if you dont find a guild of like minded people.

I just want to play the game man, I don’t want to foster a community. I want to play the game lol. That’s the whole point of a game. Most people don’t have hours of their life to dedicate to running/organizing a guild or community.

This is a problem unique to World of Warcraft and if you tell every new player that they have to “foster a community” to even play the game then it’s going to die.

Its not a problem unique to WoW.

I have seen this problem exist in every single game that has climbing challenging content.

You dont have to do it to merely play the game/participate in M+. You know this. I know this. But you are being intentionally disingenuous.

I am specifically talking about being successful with higher end content.

Its not a problem unique to WoW.

Name one other game that you can’t click a “Play” button and immediately start playing the game.

If you need friends to make a game fun, then the game isn’t a fun game, any activity with your friends is usually fun.

Also for someone who claim’s to have been around since forever you sure are light on achievements; Like you don’t appear to have done anything since last year.

So be it. Players leave and players stay, why are you owning that? It’s because someone left a key, WoW is too hard and you’re unsuccessfully trying to get your point across by having a temper tantrum. Not cool.

Is this meant to be a gotcha or something

They shouldn’t be worrying about keys if they don’t enjoy them

Not in this game.

Apparently not.

Then you’re in the wrong genre.

Dude, PvP is the deadest it’s ever been, I swear.

Shadowlands PvP was a cry for help, unanswered. It was dying then!

And now it’s a tombstone in the ground, lol.

You want WoW to have a “PLAY” button that allows you to immediately start playing the game?

Boy. Do I have a surprise for you.

Oh boy do I love to hit that button and still have a 30 minute queue to do the content I want

This!

You asked to play the game.

Now you want a play button to automatically queue into a very specific slice of the game, only the specific content you want?

We call this moving the goal posts.

If you want to do challenging higher end content purely solo, you will have a rough time. Just like in LOL. Just like in OW. Where its easier in both of those games to have a premade group.

Most of the people replying have been playing the game for 15+ years and have dedicated their life to building a community around it. I don’t think people realize that most of us don’t want to dedicate our life to WoW. We’ll just leave and play other games. This isn’t a healthy system for a game to foster players.

This.

Wow is a Massively Multi-player On-line Role Playing Game and if you don’t understand the importance of community (particularly at this stage of the game where the number one complaint is the lack thereof) Then I don’t understand why you would spend time in this.

Dude should just get skyrim and Jam it full of mods so it can be whatever the hell he thinks WoW should be.

No one is saying dedicate your life.

But they are saying if you want to do +19 keys successfully and quickly, the solo option isnt gonna be the most efficient.

Ok, list or join the content you want, grab something to drink, make popcorn and cozy up. Bam you’re in.

… you don’t need to dedicate your life to joining a community or guild that runs M+. LOL what?
