This could be amazing. Dire maul could be a full 4 raids at level 50. Even if it’s a cool thing to play along side of other WoW games, I’m glad they are trying something a little different.

Literally all I wanted was fresh vanilla with no class changes (or if there had to be changes, then changes that didn’t impact the rotation/playstyle ((like a passive melee 10% haste buff baked into repentance talent to shore up Ret PvE dps numbers and or a mana/efficiency boost of some kind)
What was announced is basically the antithesis of that desire… and it’s also costing us basically the entirety of pvp…
I was worried this would be the case, blizzard isn’t just stupid, they’re CREATIVELY stupid. They are “Homer Simpson trying to make Mr Burns a bowl of cereal with milk and it catching on fire” stupid.

They already said no beta so the streamers that they allow play it will have NDAS for sure.
I’m guessing the race/class restrictions are already lifted if they mention Paladin and Shaman factions’ moves being available to all. Here’s to Monk, DK, and maybe DH coming to SoD.
So they kinda combined SOM2 with Classic+. That will be good I will play it.

Omg I just watched a game play vid of sod. 99% chance I never get past lvl 20. Looks terrible. Totally disconnected from what vanilla players are interested in

One of the devs literally called it Classic Plus near the end of the deep dive.
