Just saw this speculation about the next expansion. It sounds pretty legit and actually not that bad of an expansion. Tinker is the class mentioned with a backpack mechanic on its back. Also, lots of world revamping stuff.
Tell me what you guys think!

People need to stop listening to leaks, imo.

I kinda wish that blizzard would announce the next expansion just so people stopped crafting BS leaks lol.

Its quite fun when you act like itâs real and was announced by blizzard. They could be blizzard employees who are making this up just to see what players want and their feedback. Although, Iâm definitely wrong on that.

Tinker is a meme. The only reason people want Tinker is because of some weird notion that guns need more reps and that mail needs more reps.
Nobody has a poster of a Tinker on their wall because theyâre so hyped for them. Nobody has tinker gears tattooed over their body. Itâs purely people thinking they need to solve a âproblemâ that has already been solved by personal loot. And as a side-note - glaives are only used by DH, agi daggers are only used by rogues, and guns are only used by Hunters. This idea that guns, of all weapons, need to be used by multiple classes is a strange outdated idea.
As far as mail representation, you can easily fix that by some other mail-wearing class people actually want like Dragonborn / Dragonsworn / Dragonknight or whatever you choose to call it.

I donât know why people are biting down on the Dragon motif. Weâre going back to fighting the Old Gods.

I wouldnât believe it still. Itâs really just listing ideas players have been harping on about for awhile. That one is a bit more calm than some of the other crazy leaks, but itâs basically General Discussion turned into a list. Anyone can do that.
Also Blizz employees are bound to a contract of secrecy. Theyâre not going to tell their friends and family over a beer all of these details and big announcements. Even listing all the main features. Theyâre just not going to do that. Thatâs like the main issue anytime someone comes out with a new âleakâ and claims their brotherâs second cousin works at Blizz. No proof of any of that.
Feb 18th also seems too soon. 9.2âs not even going to be out by then. I wouldnât expect the expansion reveal until at least March or April so they can let us focus on the ending of SL and not spoil anything.

I donât think youâre wrong that weâll see the Old Gods return as the veil between the Lightlands, Voidlands, and all of the other âLandsâ falls and all of the astral planes converge into one, but I would expect this to be like a âBFAâ and the expansion will start off with us on a new island and doing normal island stuff before the craziness starts.
This âisland stuffâ is either something completely new or Dragon Isles, and many of us are hoping for Dragon Isles.
Tinker is the dumbest thing ever. We already have engineers that are virtually useless, oh yay I can make expensive battle rezsâŚ

Itâs pretty much confirmed. Of course weâre going to fight old gods if dragons are involved.
I wouldnât say thatâs remotely true. Plenty just like the aesthetic, or consider the hero from Warcraft III to be the last one unrepresented by a current class. The gun and mail representation is just a bonus.

The dragon isles thing gets rumored every time. Itâs become tradition now. So much that if they did finally do it, itâd probably be a letdown.

I think the Horde needs a butt whooping again. Faction war letâs go!
Engineering is a very handy skill to have. Wormholes allow you to Port yourself. Also you can make some useful things such as portable Stables for Hunters to swap out pets⌠and so on.

I have already imaginary paid for the imaginary per-purchase.

The thing about that a faction war/skirmish is a great way to foreshadow something happening, or to allow villains to work in the background with a degree of freedom.
