Title says most of it. Blizzard 100% gives no fs. People openly talk about buying gold now. GDKPs are mostly funded by RMT. Many players would rather go to a gdkp where they can yoink some RMTed gold instead of joining a guild or just buy the items they want. No end in sight. No response from the blue. Nothing. Hope people have 40k for each darkmoon card greatness.

See, you’re just making assumptions. I don’t play retail, I quit in MoP. I’m not dismissing that people buy gold, they obviously do, but its not as big as you think it is. Gold is legit extremely easy to get now. Do your netherwing dailies and its about 1.3k a week. Once we get sunwell dailies, it’ll be even easier. Gold is not hard to make, and you sound like someone who is just too lazy to make your own and assuming everyone that does have gold is simply buying it.

you are right though gold is really easy to farm. i do an aoe farm on my holy pally and make like 250g an hour lol. people just seem like they dont want to farm anymore. I hear a lot of players say they are low on gold and they dont even consider farming. They either buy or go to gdkp. Which, the gdkp wouldnt be bad if gold buyers were just straight banned, but cant have both to me.

Do have to agree GDKPs are damaging guilds. We currently have people no longer bringing mains to raid and instead alts so mains can go to gdkps. It’s a us problem but I am sure we aren’t the only ones.
How it worked in the past from my experience your main geared up and you kept going to make runs faster to get the others their gear. Then switch to alts etc.
Also alot of guilds fight the roster boss and with more people doing gdkps there is no point of even being in a Guild. Can just jump in one of the 5 gdkps that seem to run everyday.
A big reason for all this though is the content is to easy. If it were hard you would probably still have gdkps or carries but not to the current level being seen.

Honestly I like gold buyers, they take all the risk and I tank the GDKP and it trickles down to me. It’s a win win.

If your guild is having issues with mains not coming to main raid, that’s a leadership issue that needs to be addressed. You should not allow alts to come to main raid, especially if its progression. If its old content that the guild isn’t farming anymore…fine, but progression stuff should be mains only all the time.
This is not a fault of GDKP’s, but leadership not setting clear rules on raiding.

The guilds that only log onto gdkp raids once a week should tell them something. Identifying it by noticing how they implore politics into the game and the fact our own country doesn’t make certain individuals in office that actually pay for healthcare. Relying on a power shift with the company to improve gameplay for one is just another concept of imagining what they are actually talking about things in guild discords that are invite only. People now struggling to cope with the game mechanics by nerfs when we are comparing everything we don’t like about the game as to why retail is less popular. Fact now proven that these things are actually incurring because of how easy it is to obtain gold in retail and as to why they implemented boosting services in classic without any means to purchase gold.
Basically, things the average developer in Blizzard expects and us wondering why. I rest my case. In game voice not being capitalized leading to the incursion and setting them up as voice channels only as to why the concept of a lore following a pantheon who’s fall echoed throughout the solar system, not noticing these things by talent being wasted with our own money while we sit here and watch our lives dwindle away after being charged a monthly basis and trying to reason with us why it’s justified, not attributing the gains they incurred by using blizzard updates as ways to avoid setbacks for the lackluster of employees that shouldn’t even be working there and us inheriting these problems and not thinking microsoft would be incurring the wrath as to wondering why the stocks fall revealing further bias by not being prepared on how to remedy these problems and relying on beings such as the community council to faulter out of spite and not acting on things enabling a theory of conspiracy when in reality there’s things you do and things you don’t do and knowing the things you can do to better the world is noticing how the world actually works without glorifying these things as a newfound knowledge and wondering why we don’t rely on the news to know why bad things happen when in it spreads corruption by valuing these things as opinions when in fact that once upon a time our opinions were heard by developers and we blame the company for imploring them. Case in point if you don’t have the ability to admire simplicity then you create more problems then by trying to fixing them and having higher staff members in the company punish you for it. doubting for those in the seat of power enable negligence and they think things like improving the lore is a great idea and wondering why would we care. It’s the people that make the game by enjoying it not by doing it I highly recommend that you they should not take the bias approach to undermine the values of those they deem lesser to themselves without having any idea why they would take our word for it. It’s pointless… just don’t think you can say your life has no meaning because of the the mindset, because if you can do that then you know exactly what comes next without attributing the things that are currently going on legally and using it to actually get out in the world when there really is no need to please anyone whatsoever and us wondering how full our pockets really can be. Things they can simply do without raising toxicity and regarding those around superior by not understanding the premise of equality when our society is based on quality and not quantity. Don’t reside on the collective without first spreading the word which is how a company is supposed to be run and how you carry yourself reflects and effects those around you without determining if they are alone in as to why they need to appreciate themselves without being acknowledged after the current legal battle. Don’t merit those for doing what they were supposed to be doing for this because in reality it makes you an enabler for you to get away with things nobody needed in the first place.
I thought this thread would be about how dull bear tanking is now.
