Would quit WoW in less than a second for WoS.
(although other people posting aren’t wrong: I have no faith in the current Blizz team to do it right)

Then World of Diablocraft. And then World of Overwatch.
World of StarCraft would be the GO TO franchise when World of WarCraft ends. But WoW is far from dead. Yup. it’s dying since after 18 years ago.
How could it die? WoW is arguably still the best MMO out there after being the best for 18 years.
Back when Titan was in development a lot of us were hoping it was an MMO in the Starcraft universe. That dream is dead, but some of it survives in Overwatch.
I’ll stick with Warframe.
In 2000s yes. Now? No
I see you really love your Nidus and Two-Handed Mace.
I would love to play a dark templar, like Zeratul.
Yeah, the current Blizzard would mess it up. I prefer them not to make a World of Starcraft.
They canned Starcraft Ghost for Overwatch. The worst decision they could have ever made.
With this Blizzard, was the best idea. I do not want the Blizzard of now to destroy Starcraft.
what about world of diablo?
Sell the ip to Frost Giant Studios, and let them continue making rts games for it. Don’t ruin it by turning it into mmorpg.
I’ll probably give it a try. Havent really gotten into the StarCraft series and not really big on RTS. But the story is pretty interesting.
Zerglings only count as 1/4 of a player for grouping purposes allowing a full Zergling raid to be a true swarm of 160 Zerglings.
I absolutely would, but the more I think about this concept, the harder it is to conceptualize.
WarCraft had a plethora of established, diverse races to make playable - so many the roster was always in question. StarCraft…?
StarCraft’s factions are 100% races and while you can have some diversity in them, that really boils mostly down to a lighter “ethnicity” rather than full on “races” or even “species.”
And this not only limits the character roster, but also the whole… roster as a whole. NPCs, threats… anything outside the three races would have to be invented from nothing, and that can be freeing, but also much more of a struggle.
I’m not going to say it wouldn’t work, but it would be very, very different from WoW.
I don’t think I’m good enough at aiming to play an MMOFPS (as WoS would likely be) to any reasonable degree. There’s a reason why in single player games I always end up playing melee stealth if there’s no tab-target-esque ranged option.
omg think of how fun it would be to see all of them hopping with their little wings!
i want to do that!
I would roll Zergling and then complain on the forums that zealots are too strong and you need at least 6 zergling players to even have a chance.
@Ironnic.
It wouldn’t be hard to make an MMO RPG with guns in it.
Zerg unplayable, just Terran, Protoss.
Unless they made it to where all three factions are not only fighting each other, but there would be offshoots as well.
I personally would play Protoss, but the red ones. The ones taught by Amon. They’re their own nation with their own fleets.
Or a Dark Templar. Cuz cloak is cool
I would not. Space fantasy and creatures isn’t that appealing to me.
Hope you find a game that is sci fyi if that’s ur thing
I think Space Fantasies are just awesome, especially when its mixed with Magic.
I think Star Wars is a great example of Sci-Fi and Mythical Fantasy being mixed together.
I wish more stuff was out there like it. I personally feel Sci-Fi Fantasies can do more and have a mixture of everything created from cowboys to slaying Dragon and being beamed up in a Star Ship.
I think its probably why people have such a problem with WOW’s writting. It was established as a Fantasy world early on and took a weird Sci-Fi twist this last X-Pack that is not WOW like in my opinion. Yeah, I know WOW has some steampunk themes but that is different from genres like Star Wars.
More and more I just want something different like Star Wars that plays like WOW.
