The facts are straight. You preach that the channel should be free of Guild Recruiting, and its your members who are recruiting in that channel.
As for your RP, yes we have seen your Guild show up to the events. There is a nice list on the Grobb RP Discord with those trolling events. Most of the names belong to your guild.
A fine example was the opening ceremony for the server on Alliance. Spamming AOE spells, Spamming long texts of gibberish. Following the procession doing /spit emotes when we asked you nicely to please stop.
Do you have pictures of the RP griefing? I’ve heard a lot about it but haven’t seen any material proof yet. I’m curious to see if it exists, if it does I’d appreciate you letting me see it.
We can’t really do anything about it if we don’t know who the perpetrators were.
For any third party observers that are staying quiet but curious about these accusations, here’s the skinny.
The opening ceremony event was an unmitigated disaster and not organized well at all. Instead of admitting fault there was a rush to point fingers at anyone else, and apparently that meant us. Yet no one can substantiate any of these accusations with any proof of someone with an Enclave guild tag engaging in any of the behavior mentioned. You’d think with hundreds and hundreds of people at this thing, surely ONE person could manage to produce a screenshot of this supposed disruption, but there isn’t any. Weird!
Enclave has roleplayers in it. I’m a roleplayer myself, though I’ve been too busy leveling to actually sit down and start working on any of my characters. There’s no guild missive about harassing roleplayers or disrupting roleplay, and the roleplayers among us certainly have no interest in doing so either.
I can confirm Narshe’s statement, as I was there too. The whole thing was very poorly organized. I don’t know whether to blame the event organizers, layering, or a combination of both.
There didn’t seem to be any real plan in place as for what was supposed to be going on. I stood there for roughly 20 minutes, and watched people spam yell memes and jump around. It really was just a mess.
I mean, I’m honestly curious. As the Zaves appointed RP leader for the guild I want to make sure people are being respectful when it comes to RP. I would be more apt to believe the heresay if I didn’t witness dozens of guildies marveling at the Clan Battlehammer or Clan Hammersong, and expressing nothing short of childish wonder.
Seriously people were posting screencaps in the Discord and there weren’t any derisive comments. People were hype about it and everyone was asking when they do their meetups and wanting to join in to help crush Horde skulls. No one was making fun of them or plotting to ruin their events. Stuff like the Dwarf clan events are exactly why RPPvP is great.
I second this. The channel is full of Ben Shapiro and Breibart fanboys. I am not for banning, but these kids should go to Faerlina if they want an echo chamber like asmongold’s stream. Grob is a mature community that wont tolerate this despite being full of pvp bros
What The Enclave did this evening in the world chat was nothing short than an act to tear the community apart.
They claimed they were doing us all a ‘favor’ by kicking out the ‘owo’, racists, memesters and whatever else, yet they had members spamming “HAIL HORRIGAN” (their gleader), kicking out anyone who voiced a disagreement with what they were doing, and pretty much spammed a list of approved ‘topics’ for us to talk about (WWE, a certain type of anime that I can’t remember the name of, etc.)
I get it, the spam over the past couple of weeks annoy people, but come on, people used that channel for legitimate community purposes too. I’ve answered plenty of wPvP callouts that I’ve seen from there. It was a channel that I had used to make a few friends, and I’m sure other people did as well. One guild shouldn’t have the right to dictate who gets and who doesn’t get to be in the most popular channel in the community.
Additionally, those people they kicked out will just spill their spam into the legitimate LookingForGroup chat now.
I don’t know anyone in the guild nor had any experiences with them prior to tonight, but after going onto the Grobb Reddit to get more information on the situation, I saw some screenshots of some extremely disrespectful things their leader Harrington said about Chinese people, overweight women, and a few other insulting things.
I would encourage everyone to blacklist and stay away from members of this guild. I’m not generalizing the whole guild, but it seemed like a significant portion of the guild took part in this ‘purge’, which was extremely immature and destructive for the Alliance side community.
Because world channel is the most popular channel in the community. You can’t just get the whole server to join a channel like world. It’s been a staple on private server for years and carried over to Classic.
One guild shouldn’t revoke someone’s right to this public channel because they simply asked “Why did Enclave kick everyone” (which happened)
You know I got banned for the most ridiculous reason, by saying that racism was cringe . Apparently saying cringe was enough to get banned, by Horrigan but the other degenerates can say whatever they like. That is power abuse
I didn’t go and screenshot everything that happened tonight. So no, I can’t provide screenshots. The screenshots of the insulting things their gleader said are somewhere there on the Grobb discord. I’m not going to bother to dig them up again. If you want to claim that nothing bad happened, go ahead. I didn’t even get banned from the channel.
I just saw one guild help destroy a channel that should be owned by the community and shouldn’t be moderated to fit one guild’s agenda.
I dunno what Enclave whole deal is, but it is an Emerald dream guild as far as I am concerned. We are well aware that many factions want to take control over the server. Among those factions are the 4chan /pol who think this server is just another medium to promote their memes.
Well no, Emerald Dream will put a fight and run them all away to Faerlina. We have been playing this game longer than they have. Therefore, I won’t buy any claim without any proof. Hopefully next time you can provide us with some screenshots.
