because it is the way everyone else obtained the mounts, no reason to trivialize the method of acquisition now

no it is not trivial at the current moment. it will become trivial when everyone can buy it off a vendor in mop remix for doing one dungeon.

yes, that is what i am trying to communicate with this post.
The world boss mounts being on the vendors is fine. Theyāre set at a ridiculously high price. In fact, itās probably much more challenging getting all the coins to buy the mounts than it is to login on an alt parked at the WB once a week to 1 shot it and not get the mount. Even when the world bosses were current, they were easy to kill. World Bosses are literally loot pinatas, they have never been challenging.
Youāre making a mountain out of a molehill for literally no reason. Farming the coins is going to be a lot more work. I have 3/4, just missing Nalak, and I look forward to buying it after I buy everything else. Otherwise, Iāll continue 1 shotting the boss once a week because itās trivial and no where near a skill challenge at all.

I personally would not spend any currency on a mount with a 2% drop rate so I donāt get why anyone would complain but this isnāt a real complaint, the OP is clearly trolling, so itās whatevs.

is it more challenging to clear a five man dungeon, disenchant one piece of gear and get the world boss mount or is it more challenging to kill the world boss 8000 times to get the mount?
One shotting a mob isnāt challenging, itās not even time consuming. It takes less than a minute out of the day to kill it. Itās fine, youāre just a troll.

Currently theyāre just an alt farm. They each have a ~1% droprate and the issue with collecting them is the weekly lockout, not the difficulty/rarity. If people want to play tons of remix to get the currency to buy them (like 10x more expensive than any other mount or full cosmetic set) then it doesnāt affect me, because they could also camp the spawns for 10 weeks on 10 toons and accomplish the same thing, probably more quickly.

The annoying 15 minute respawn timers and the weekly loot lockout would like to have a word with you.
Just farm them in Warmode lol. I started farming them 6 months ago, have gotten 3 of them since and never once had to wait for one of the bosses to spawn or deal with the other faction attacking.
So what you are saying OP, is that you spent the hours and hours farming those mounts that you like never use, and are upset the rest of us wonāt have to leave things up to RNG?
No, this is a great change. I never was going to sit at SHA repeatedly trying to get a mount that i will use 1% of the time. Now I can get the mount on Remix, and use it less than 1% of the time.

How does playing the entire expansion and using what you got to buy is trivial? Itās infinitely less trivial and far more consistent than what we have now.

if you want the mount, you should get it with the same method of acquisition that everyone else did.
doing one dungeon, disenchanting your gear and buying a world boss mount is as trivial as it gets.
