Exactly how it should be, will be, and will be again in the future, too
some mounts i collect because they’re an easy +1 and I want to stay ahead of the next mount collection meta in case it’s a mount I want. /shrug
exactly! this is the point i wanted to make: people will no longer attempt to play the game and farm rare mounts outside of a WoW Remix.
here is an example:
someone wants the rustfeather mount - before Remix, they would have paid a sub fee, logged on every day and killed rustfeather with multiple alts.
Now, with the WoW:Remix, that same person will say to themselves “well, is it really worth my time and money to spend $15 on a subscription fee and log in every day and kill rustfeather probably over 700 times? No, i’m just going to unsub, save the money and i’ll sub again when BFA: Remix releases and i can get the rustfeather mount by clicking on a vendor one time.”
Well someone that didnt wanna spend the time farming the mounts, now Blizz now gave them a hand out lol
I mean, yes, that is a possible reason, I do that with some mounts as well, but tell me… do you play this game solely to collect mounts? or are there other things you like doing? are there mounts you like for their own sake? does getting that meta completed means you stop playing until more mounts are released?
IF BFA: Remix releases*
that’s another point i wanted to bring up: now, people will just unsub from DF and wait until DragonFlight:Remix to get the Taivan mount.
before WoW Remix, people would have logged on and spent lots of time doing the achieves for Taivan, but now, they can just wait for DF: Remix and get Taivan from a vendor.
how do you read a sentence… and completely flip it upside down. THE POINT> I WAS MAKING THAT> PEOPLE WILL KEEP PLAYING> BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY OTHER THINGS TO DO IN GAME.
I’m hoping that all caps will help you read and maybe even comprehend
I stayed subbed all through shadowlands purely to spend time farming old mounts, because I sure as hell wasn’t playing shadowlands lmao
Why is this troll thread still going? The OP is CLEARLY trolling for the sake of it. So many baited.
not necessarily - people who only want to collect mounts will only sub for the Remix.
weird, but ok… to ellaborate a little. for me personaly, if something is too much effort/too time consuming, while also being not enjoyable… there is a 50/50 chance I will not do it. in fact - I’ve given up farming Pandaria mounts and have been subbing every other months to just catch up on whatever content I was actualy enjoying. some of it WAS casual mount farming. the kind where I don’t have to afk to wait for a spawn and hope to get a hit in and then that rng blesses me, or the kind that requires extra tedious grinds. I’m actualy going to stay subscribed for entire remix, not taking breaks like I normally do. how many people just let their subscriptions lapse when content is not fun and DON’t go after old achievements? I would wager a good chunk at least.
please. tell me. what is the purposed of collecting mounts in a game you otherwise do not play. explain to me.
to have the collection.
None of the meta mounts are on the vendor. Hell the cm mounts aren’t on the vendor either (yaknow, the things that were actually a commitment to get).
Meaning you still need to play the game to get rewards. You’re doing a very bad job of coping so far.
there are no meta mounts in MoP, though.
meta mounts started being a thing in DF with A World Awoken (and retroactively put onto the SL Veilstrider achieve)
every raid had a meta mount, dungeons also had a meta mount. try again sweaty
what for? what is the point of just having something? why pay money for the game you don’t like to collect pixels you are not even using?
because people enjoy having the collection.
