I know they howl, I was making a furry awwoo howl joke.
Also, Vulepra also aren’t furries, so not checkmate.
Worgen, Tauren, Trolls, etc are not furries. They are Anthropomorphic creatures that can FIT into the Furry category. They were not created to be furries though.
I’m not saying that they do not fit into the category, but you can not say “Ah yes, Blizzard made them because they wanted to make furry races”. Blizzard wanted to make fantasy beast races. It’s very clear.
Also, I noticed somewhere up top posting a picture saying Worgen were supposed to have tails? I posted this LOOONG ago on another thread, so I figured I’d just copy paste it here:

Those are not counted. I can tell you that if Square counted every single Final Fantasy account created. It would still dwarf WoW at this point.
The industry doesn’t look at accounts created, because then you’re counting every single account created to sell gold and other such nonsense. The state of a game is measured by active subs.
And before you try to argue. My numbers come from back when WoW reported their sub numbers themselves. I can tell you, that in 2014, WoW was barely holding onto 10 mil, not 100 mil.
1,000%, worgen tail options have been something i’ve hoped for since they were added in cataclysm!
It’s SO WEIRD that they have naked ape-butts.
More options = more fun in an mmo.
ever single article about FF14 reaching a new “Player” milestone is about total accounts and not a concurrent player count. Even sites that track concurrent user traffic have numbers between 350k-1.4m
Those sites are dated as well. Especially when they announced a few months ago of hitting 18 million. The fact remains that FF 14 has pulled ahead of WoW, and unless they really knock it out of the park with Shadowlands. That’s not changing.
according to the lore nerds FUN is not allowed
ffxivcensus is updated April 2020, only has 647,345 active character worldwide. And you’d think with a game that has over “20 Million” players they’d do better then 999,155 pre-orders on their newest expansion Shadowbringer.
Even steam only has a 22k daily peak for FF14 now granted that may be only NA numbers.
But saying FF14 has topped WoW record of Concurrent players of 13m by a full 7m without any game media reporting on it is just being dishonest and you know it
So you’re trying to play pre-order numbers and numbers reported by steam where square has moved away from steam as fact. Yeah okay.
WoW does not have 13m concurrent players, but if you wish to keep believe false information, that’s on you. As for who’s being dishonest, that answer is best given by you sodding off and looking in a mirror.
Also ffxivcensus has been proven unreliable. So drop it and move on.
According to us Lore nerds… lets preserve what little Lore we have left in our fantasy game that is driven by lore

It has nothing to do with being fair. Your biology does not contain a tail. You have never once had a tail. No worgen ever at any point have had a tail. Christie Golden confirmed on Twitter worgen do not have tails. Stop with strawman, irrelevant arguments and be logical.

What lore? We had a whole expansion pack of “literally what” and now we’re going to a new planet and starting over. What’s the difference now?
Just like there are no Asian humans either.
Blizzard can come up with lore you know.
Also again, Blizzard official concept art showed worgen females with tails…
None of which made it into the game and it was retconned before worgen went live.
literally nothing about this change effects anything at all relevant to you so, why is it logical to be upset by it? lol
We didn’t have Asian humans in the game either and now all the sudden we do.
Bottom line is. Let the people have the option. This has been the most requested thing for worgen players since freaken cata alpha.
never said it did currently but at one time at the end of Wrath It did. A feat that if any triple-A MMO reached would be something news gaming sites would cover.
And why not use pre-order sale numbers WoW gets between 2.8 to 3.6 million even with a smaller playerbase Yet the “20 million” juggernaut FF14 can even break a million?
Also where are the offical numbers from Square then? Fact is No Sub based MMO reports concurrent sub numbers anymore
I would love it if Worgen had a tail option, but only if it were a feature added to the store and cost $14.99.
Just kidding, but an option to have a tail would be nice.
Because I enjoy lore and continuity. There is no reason for you to randomly sprout a tail in the middle of the night and begin wagging furiously.
