Worgen Heritage hate

I think we can all agree that it needs to be altered to some extent.

I like it as well. Went and got them and still like the set. The only heritage armor I will bother even getting so far.

You’re literally saying “it’s honestly too much to ask for no clipping for a set designed specifically for one race”. None of your points have been strong throughout this entire thread, but my god, this one takes the cake. Stop trying to champion something that you have no compelling arguments for.

Im just saying that if they couldnt fix the Void elf hair clipping trough the collar what makes you think they will be able to do it properly with a cape and the worgen model?

Genn is the perfect example of that, he doesnt have the cape in the worgen form for a reason.

And if you will just be toxic then you better leave and complain somewhere else

My only complaint (shoulders aside) is that the gloves don’t really offer anything, the bracers hold no true merit on their own, and that the entirety of the set was designed around the human forms of the Worgen…

The Worgen side of the set was an afterthought, and this is what gets me.

Felt this way as well.

Well bracers rarely ever do that tbh

And well, you gotta take in mind that the set is based on Gilneas (which was a human kingdom) more than the Worgen them selfs.

“Those people need to remember, that we can HIDE shoulders now. So just hide them, and wear it that way.”
/grin

And this is still what gets under my skin about the set… Those of us who play Worgen do so to BE Worgen; not to be humans with dapper outfits.

And you’re wearing one of the biggest examples of how humans can pull it off as it is.

As much as I like the overall outfit, I feel a bit cheated as a Worgen due to the way the set works on the mesh.

Overall, I’ll only really get the set for the tophat and boots, but I cannot really see myself using the full set which is a legitimate crying shame because I actually WAS looking forward to it.

Well the heritage armors so far are more based on their faction than the race itself.

And as far as PC races go, the race IS the faction.

Eh. Very few outfits in in WoW avoid clipping. It just isn’t a concern their designers bother thinking about.

That right there has been one of my biggest arguments for playable Arakkoa as far as their High forms go. Let the Wings and Tailfeathers clip – it’s not the first time a distinctive feature clipped through armor. XD

And it certainly won’t be the last.

I mean, not really, for example theres multiple factions of the same race, including the worgen.

We are from the Gilnean faction, i guess you were looking for something more similar to the Bloodfang pack faction which look more like feral worgens

Honestly, I’d prefer the sets that the Worgen were wearing during the 8.2.5 War Campaign finale.

I’m not being toxic, I’m making an observation - you’re essentially condoning Blizzard not trying hard enough to avoid clipping in heritage armor (to reaffirm, armor LITERALLY designed for one race, shouldn’t be too much to ask for). Void elf heritage armor should be revised to not clip as well.

They arent good at dealing with Clipping, thats been a thing since the early days of the game.

Kael’thas is the perfect example of that.

And considering how poor the customization is in this game, trying to fix clipping can potentially cause more harm to the model.

The last picture posted should of been it… i was excited when i looked up the heritage armor before they were released and i saw this last photo. For some reason in that last photo the version i saw had a top hat as well dont know how you found this one or removed it… The rest of the photos here are horrible… look absolutely terrible… They are nothing i would go out of my way to get.

Another thing is the heritage armor we are getting looks entirely lackluster compared to the last photo.

In this link with the top hat looks perfect. Especially if they found a way to put it ont he Worgen model like they did the human version.

Honestly I just want the gloves to be a leather brown to match the boots. I’ll probably just hide them and it’ll be fine for me.

I think they are a reference to Godfrey gloves who were bright blue, rather than gray blue, showing that some Gilnean uses gloves of that coloration
