Nov 20th and having the same issue.

All addons disabled, restarted, dropped the quest and picked it up again, shard hopped…
Opened a ticket with the hopes of getting a nice GM to flag the quest as finished for me.

This is not a quick or easy rep to grind, please fix this so we can progress with this old story beat.

Might be fixed now. I was able to interact with the bottle after this last reset (11/21/22)

11/27, Tried interacting with the bottle again and no dice. Doing the weekly in the area didn’t help either.

has anyone tried using the interact with keybind to get to the bottle?

Wouldn’t you have to have the item show up as a tooltip first to do that? The bottle is highlighted in yellow but can’t actually be selected or interacted with in any way.

Hey Blizzard, if you can’t figure out how to fix the existing bottle, why not just add a second bottle next to his other leg? Honestly, it can’t be that difficult.

Still broken - 6 months later with NO fix in sight. This quest locks more than half the Uldum Vision dailies behind it.

While I was able to unlock it on my main during BFA, essentially Blizzard’s saying they don’t want or care if new players can never complete this quest to unlock the rest of the dailies? Even though they WANT BFA to be the default leveling experience?

Really annoying.

I was able to get a GM to flag this as complete for me. If you want to put in a ticket, just go to the Support window in game and click the “In-Game Issues” icon, click Contact Support at the bottom, and write your ticket. It’ll give an automated response and you’ll just need to say that your problem isn’t fixed. After a couple days you should get a GM response back and (hopefully) a completed quest. Here is what I got:

Actually, we can confirm this is a known issue that is currently being actively investigated/worked on by our developers. There are currently no available workarounds.

With that said, since I can confirm that you match certain internal criteria to have the quest completed and the quest itself is quite old, I’ve gone ahead and set is as ready to turn in for you!

(PS: If you’re like me and confused why the open ticket button is stuck in place, it’s tied to the micro menu anchor so can’t really be moved on its own.)

Still having the same issue. Submitted a ticket a while ago and never got a reply - doing another now. Every day I do Uldum dailies I go click around on the bottle hoping it’s been fixed… not yet!

Same, can’t interact with the bottle in the “Word from Orsis” quest in Uldum. Apparently this has been a problem for a VERY long time. Laborer Mitchell needs his water, guys! Please fix this.

They know there is an issue, they won’t fix, they will just leave to rot, it is more important to put out expansions for those that feel after a couple of raids there is nothing more to do. And they are also the ones that get the cool mounts and stuff, because once they move on things break or get removed, after almost 19 years I am used to it.
