I hope it’s successful.
Patch 11.2.5 will suddenly add Player Housing to WoW if so. Just watch.

I wouldn’t be surprised.
The game looked like fortnite/hearthstone style animation which I dig.
I wouldn’t mind trying it out once it gets to a finished state.
I like it and it’s great seeing dialogue options.
I haven’t tried fishing but hope it’s not a frustrating bore.
Honestly, aside from some minor bugs and server stability, the game is pretty much finished. Open beta starts the 10th. I think you can still sign up for it on the website.
Cool, but I should of been more specific. The original state seems barebones as with some games on their initial release. I want to see when/if they flesh it out - - is when I want to dive in and try it out.
Ah, gotcha. Unfortunately… I don’t know that there is anything to “flesh out.” They removed the adventure questing portion entirely and I haven’t seen word of anything else that’s going to be added.
That’ll be the deciding factor , if they want to do well or not. Reading that they removed a questing portion entirely is disappointing.
What I mean fleshing out is really just the progress a game takes. It’s clear any successful game can’t stagnate… and leave it in the ‘barebone’ state it is in. They’ll need to do smart decisions based on player feed back on what direction to take.
The decisions they end up making as Devs of the game will decide the success of this game.
Palia is just cool and awesome for sure…bit of learning curve for me using key controls as I normally do most things from my mouse in wow…but it not hard …graphics are wonderful…already mining and picking up herbs and flowers for cooking…haven’t tried fishing yet…later today I might…working on building my house now…have to get and make the machines to plane wood and make stone bricks…damn if WoW had this it would be fabulous…
Apparently from August 10th and onward it will be open beta till Full release of Palia…
This is correct. Also I woke up to a nice surprise. I got into the closed beta. wee
Congrats…hope you like it…I am loving it so far…its a welcomed changed from wow for sure…not sure how the servers are set up, don’t even know if there are different ones but if you see a character in Palia named Moused that is me lol…
Housing layout…chef’s kiss please stea…be inspired to copy Blizz.
Fishing game/mechanic is bearable but needs a larger bobber.
Hunting mechanic is okay but feels more luck-based since it looks like you’re close enough but still miss.
Apparently some of the Dev’s for Palia are former Blizzard Dev’s…
Congrats. I’m pretty interested in this one. So hopefully, I don’t kill it like I killed Wildstar because it showed potential.
Just found out everything you build and collect during the Beta’s will stay when the game goes Live…don’t know the Live date but you get too keep everything you have made and it will go live with you…
Interesting. On one hand it’s like getting a jump start before the game goes live. Like some mmos offered. But on the other people who didn’t get into Beta maybe pissed.
Well open Beta starts this coming Thursday the 10th so they can get in and start doing their thing then and it will be saved too their account and carried over too the Live…
I’ve gotten so used to people complaining on game forums when it comes to Beta access they’ll still be someone out there. Especially with how it looks like every cozy gaming Youtube channel is praising the game.
Been playing in the Closed Beta for couple days and its totally awesome …the open Beta is now open …so come on in and try it out…
This is EXACTLY what I am talking about when it comes to housing in WoW. Like: exactly.
So sad about the potential those Devs had that Bliz didn’t utilize.
The place I’m in reminds me of certain areas (ahem panda’s).
If I could literally have just a really short, green human, this is where I would go for a while. Bliz has got to up it’s game if they want time played at this point from me for a while. It doesn’t have any combat system, and it lacks a tailoring system though. But it’s also FTP, but not technically PTW because it’s statless gear. Literally just for looks.
WoW can be my “I need to kill things” game.
