Will follow if you update how it is / your experience? Or is it still restricted to what you can disclose?

NDA was lifted. I still hate the movement.

Game looks awful on the Nintendo switch. That console is outdated on release

The movement of the player characters? Or do you mean the movement supporting the game? Sorry.

ngl I watched a video they released for it and came away completely confused as to what you actually do in the game.

I watched Cohh play it and yeah… no. :stuck_out_tongue:

Just looks like an MMO version of harvest moon, and that doesn’t sound too fun.

That actually sounds like a lot of fun

Will probably try it out if they offer a trial after release. Seems like an “older” version of Animal Crossing where players can interact with each other easier. “Older” is questionable since most people playing Animal Crossing during the Pandemic where in their 40s or older.

But player housing! Surely that will make it a mega hit…

First time hearing about this game looked it up and by god it looks like complete garbage

Of the characters. It’s a console game, so it’s forward with keyboard and turn with mouse. It makes me sick. :slightly_frowning_face:

It doesn’t look much better on PC. Graphics at Epic and it’s blurry and the shadows are pixelated.

Probably becasue of the very low system requirements
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit or higher

  • CPU: Intel i5-7300 / AMD Ryzen 3 3300U
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 / AMD RX 580
  • VRAM: 4GB

Geometry is expensive and so are hi-rez textures. Not everyone is going to have a system like mine with 128GB of system ram and 12GB VRAM on a monster GPU.
Palia looks to be playable on just about anything. Which is a good thing.

I’ve been watching ytube videos for it, and it looks like fun actually.

Looks like Fortnite as a MMO. Not really appealing aesthetically

Of course art appreciation being subjective.
I’m liking the art style.

I really don’t need death, destruction, and hellscapes in all my games. This has been done to death(see what I did there) , it lost it’s appeal ages ago for me.

If the fuzzy graphics don’t give you a headache, it is fun.

It’s not even on the same plane of existence.
