I was wondering if there is a way to turn off my account with the time I have left on it. Then when Im able to, come back with my time still there?
No, that’s not an option that is offered.
The best you can do is ensure that any recurring subscriptions are turned off so you don’t continue to be charged while you are gone.

Well…thats a bummer. wont make the mistake of buying the 6 month sub next time. One can not predict what will happen in the future…Blizz should have this as an option. Thanks for the info. Cheers
WoW is like your cable or internet plan - can’t put off the billing within that month then resume where you left off until you return.

Fair enough, but my cable bill is monthly. Is why I will start going month to month instead of 6 months at a time. If I remember correctly, this used to be an option years ago. I wonder when that went away?
‘Pausing’ game time has never been an option.

Subscriptions can still be set for 1, 3 and 6 month renewal. Game time codes used to be 30/60/180 day options, but we’re paired down to 2.
6 month subs have had mount, and other rewards recently, would be a good reason to have that setup, would be my guess.

What you can TRY to do is not log in at all. Like for any reason on that account whatsoever.
When you are ready to return put in a ticket and ask. Explain the circumstances. They MAY be able to help as a courtesy.
Please note this is very much an exception to a rule and policies change over time, so it may or may not yield any fruit
I suffered from a terrible deep debilitating depression and had aboit 40 or so days of gametime. I asked and they gave it back to me amd stressed it was a one time exception to the rule and to be more mindful of gametime next time.
Not saying it may apply for you as an option but worth a try i suppose.
