Since we’re so close to Wod anyway I thought it might be a cool idea to add the HD models for all playable races for Mop. It would of course be just like the Wod version where it would be a toggable option between it and the Vanilla ones 
We already have a bunch of new “retail like” models added to these realms with new store mounts and the plunderstorm parrot mount so seems fitting.

I agree with togglable models but it is unlikely that blizzard will go to this effort just for MoP.
WoD models are a huge downgrade and the new running animations are atrocious. When they do come (sadly, that’ll happen one day) there should be a toggle to play the original models and animations. They’re vastly superior.

We don’t. Retail has different models for those mounts.
Can we all just start playing Classic and not Classic++++? SoD really did damage to some people on what Classic is. Lately people request for: HD models, mythic raiding, flex raiding, world quests instead of dailies, mythic+. Guys, go play retail for that. You can all enjoy that there. People are playing Mists of Pandaria Classic to re-experience what Mists of Pandaria was like, not what it would be if we merge it with retail

Original iteration of the HD models did actually have a toggle.
Won’t happen because it’s a lot of work. But it’d be great honestly. Pandaren are miles and away a much higher quality model than the others and it shows. I guess we’ll wait for WoD (Or Legion if they dare to skip an expansion) Classic.

YEAH! BLIZZARD! just give us a checkbox with the option for new HD models or the old ones!
That would be great, and some races look significantly better with the new models than with the old ones. Blizz could also start replacing the old models of unplayable races with the new ones.
With a toggle like in WoD, players can decide for themselves whether they prefer the old or the new models!
I guess as long as it’s toggleable. But they are so bad for some races you couldn’t pay me to toggle it on. Undead male for example is just a straight up downgrade it’s worse in every way, run animation, the faces, where weapons sheathe on your back, how some helmets sit on the head its the worst. Dwarf male run animation is awful. Human male faces and run animation is horrendous. Orcs, Tauren, Male Nelfs, pretty much all the WoD models are bad except the female elves. They should update the retail models again to be closer to the original but touched up/polished and give us those in classic instead
