If you are raiding, it’s not about “What did I get out of it?” And more.“What did the team get out of it?” This game isn’t about just “Me me me” victory is achieved through the efforts of a team. Raiding is about team effort.

I’m not a super big fan of raiding level 60 content personally. It’s OK, but not particularly engaging for me. I think the good news is that there are other things you can do, and don’t really have to raid.
Of course, GKDP ads a dynamic to raiding in Era that makes it much more PuG-friendly, especially if you’re hosting (imo), but there will most likely be guilds hosting older raids with several PuG spots as weekend SRs for some members who still need items, like warriors/rogues wanting bindings or truestrike ring, etc.
Anyway if GDKP is a make-or-break for you, then just go play a version where it’s available.

I get gold seller mail, I just report them, guess GDKP ban did nothing LOL!
It is not a waste of time, you just don’t like it because you cannot get whatever you want. There is the door if you are truly unhappy.

YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!!!
Hundreds of thousands of other players are doing just fine and getting great loot without swiping. If you cannot succeed without swiping, that doesn’t mean not swiping is the problem! Politely, you (and your expectations) are the problem!
