Man, I love the pure delusion of classic zealots lol.
Pure delusion would be the title of this thread from someone thinking they can speak on behalf of all players, or thinking that only people that want Dual Spec are âreal fans of TBC.â
I donât need to say anything on that though I see enough people already made you look like a complete idiot.
expose ourselves by saying exactly what you have been on record as saying? i love how you (correctly) dont include yourself in the classic community. its almost like you hate TBC and everything about it
then they probably shouldnt play an MMORPG from 2007.
tell robert nobody cares about his opinion, i cant believe heâs still friends with you.
Umm, wrong. The true fans of Tbc want no spec.
Itâs time for a divorce.
One thing there used to be in MMOs that there really isnât anymore is variety. There used to be a variety of MMOs catering to a variety of niches.
Thatâs all flattened out and thereâs very little innovation in the field now. The appeal of a mass market trumps all. The democratisation of Game design has essentially led to the homogenisation of the genre.
Back in the day if a game didnât have features you wanted youâd go to a game that did. Now days there is this idea of some sort of orthodoxy as to what âgood game designâ is. And its definition is purely based around mass marketability. Itâs a shame. Itâs ironically killed the genre for a lot of people. I know I ditched MMOs some time around Cata only to return with classic.
If the same democratisation induced homogenisation happens to classic with solved content then what is the point of it?
by real fans you mean retail players that donât actually want to play classic?
Iâm not a zealot. This is some Qtard level stuff on here. Do you think Trump won as well lol
No, real fans of tbc who dont pretend the game is perfect. The true fans want the game to be a success.
the game is not and will never be perfect.
the entire point of classic was to play the game as it was back then imperfections and all
A real fan of TBC would want TBC to be healthy.
You keep using terms like âhealthierâ or âbetterâ or without realizing, even though Iâve tried explaining, that this is subjective.
To me, healthier is closer to the way TBC was. To me, âbetterâ is closer to how TBC actually was.
In this particular case, healthier or better is unrelated to how happy players at all are supposed to be with the features available to them. Itâs a product that is supposed to be relatively set in what it is, and you can choose to either play or donât.
Nope I donât want it.
Was not in tbc.
The reason people wanted Classic was because they thought it was a better game than retail. Not because they wanted to play a buggy game.
Better is subjective, healthier is not.
Blizzard literally said when classic came out that they would keep the servers up regardless of player base, because the idea is for it to be a museum piece.
If the servers stay up regardless, I really donât care about what your idea of healthy is if it means making TBC less like actual TBC.
Itâs quite sad the level of communication we get
I have terrible news for you. The ânear universal approvalâ of these forums represent a very small amount of the total player base
Basically, you donât care if the game is completely dead. It can literally be just you playing TBC and you will claim that the game is âhealthyâ as long as it is exactly the same as it was either in patch 2.0.3, or patch 2.4.3, or whatever.
I donât understand how a game can be healthy when people are quitting the game in droves because they canât play, and nearly every server is horribly imbalanced.
If I didnât know better, I would think you want TBC to die.
